February 2026 Reading Wrap Up
The second month of the year is officially done! How is that even possible? With a new month underway, it’s time to share my February 2026 reading wrap-up!
I’m always surprised at how fast time is flying by, and I know I repeat myself every single month. As February comes to a close, I’m equal parts excited for spring weather to finally arrive in Ontario and wishing time would slow down just a little bit.
February was not my strongest reading month. Between finishing my month-long teaching stint and the busy moments of everyday life, I only managed to read two books. I was fully on the reading struggle bus this month, let me tell you!
I also spent a week in Victoria, British Columbia. I visited my best friend, and it was such a wonderful, much-needed trip. I thought I’d read more while I was there, but I honestly just soaked up every minute instead—and I wouldn’t change that.
I’m hoping that with warmer weather and more sunshine on the way, I’ll have more opportunities to curl up with incredible stories next month. But for now, here’s what I read in February!

February 2026 Reading Wrap Up

First-Time Caller by B.K. Borison. What a fun, swoony read! Even though it took me most of the month to finish (oops!), that had absolutely nothing to do with my enjoyment of the story. As a self-professed rom-com movie lover, I adored the Sleepless in Seattle vibes woven throughout. The characters were charming, the writing was engaging, and the love story felt both sweet and satisfying. I might even dare to say I loved this more than Lovelight Farms, which makes me even more excited to read the next book, And Now Back to You.
Our Perfect Storm by Carley Fortune. Heading off to British Columbia felt like the perfect excuse to dive into my advance copy of Our Perfect Storm—and wow, it did not disappoint. Carley Fortune has completely wiggled her way into my heart as one of my all-time favourite authors. Her writing pulls me in from the very first page every time. I especially love how she captures Canadian settings so beautifully; as someone who loves to travel but deeply appreciates the beauty of my own country, that always feels extra special. Beyond the setting, it’s the emotional core of her stories that gets me. I truly loved this one and will now (impatiently) wait for whatever she writes next.
