It sounds like the perfect cozy mystery to curl up with this winter and gives off some Finlay Donovan vibes—so I feel like I’m going to love this one!

I know nothing about Formula 1, but that doesn’t stop me from wanting to read F1 romance. This year, I read my first book (and then another one) by Alice Feeney, and now I’m eager to read more. This rom-com sounds like it will be an enjoyable read! Another small-town romance I’m excited to read! There’s no way I’m missing the next Prince of Sin book, even though I am behind in the series. I’m really excited to finally read Two Can Play by Ali Hazelwood. Originally released as an audio exclusive, this story explores the world of video game design with plenty of tension and spice. I haven’t read any books by Melissa Ferguson, but this will definitely be my first! I still need to read First Time Caller, but I’m really looking forward to the sequel. A Ghastly Catastrophe by Deanna Raybourn

I read the first book in the Veronica Speedwell series this year and loved it, so even though I’m behind in the series, I definitely can’t wait to get to this one. This mystery sends Veronica and Stoker into one of their most chilling investigations yet when two men linked to a secret society turn up dead—one drained of blood, the other staged as a suicide. Their hunt for answers leads them to old friends, dangerous pretenders, and a seductive pair whose dark beliefs may be far more than theatrics. I love the premise of this series, so I really do need to catch up!

A Girl Like Her by Talia Hibbert

I feel like it’s been forever since I read Get a Life, Chloe Brown. This new release by Talia Hibbert is the first in a trilogy and follows Ruth, a guarded outcast in her small town, and Evan, a warm and steady ex-military neighbour who refuses to be pushed away. As his patience slowly breaks through her defences, their unlikely connection becomes something Ruth never thought she deserved—until old rumours resurface and threaten the trust they’ve built. It sounds like a more emotional and intimate story than her previous ones, but I’m looking forward to reading about hope, healing, and finding someone who sees you exactly as you are.

In Her Own League by Liz Tomforde

Surprisingly, I haven’t read anything by Liz Tomforde yet—but I think this might be my first! This slow-burning baseball romance follows Reese, the first female team owner in the league, who’s fighting for respect in an environment eager to see her slip, and Emmett, the team’s dedicated field manager, who challenges her at every turn. This one is outside what I normally read, but there’s something about it that’s really grabbing my attention. I’m really curious about this one!

As soon as I heard about American Fantasy, I immediately added it to my TBR. It sounds like it will be heartfelt, funny, and full of big feelings and nostalgia. I am also really looking forward to the cruise setting.

Enemies to Lovers by Alisha Rai

I’ve enjoyed Alisha Rai’s books before, so I’m looking forward to reading her next release. This one sounds so unique, and I’m really looking forward to reading it when it’s released. How to Fake a Southern Gentleman is a rom-com inspired by My Fair Lady. It sounds warm, witty, and full of those found family vibes readers crave in books.

The Calamity Club by Kathryn Stockett

It’s been years since I read The Help, but I’m very intrigued by Kathryn Stockett’s new release. I love Kasie West’s books, so there’s no way I’m going to miss her next adult romance. The setting of this story immediately grabbed my attention! As the world’s brightest stars celebrate themselves on the Riviera, these outsiders become the prime suspects in a scandal too big to ignore. I love that it seems like everyone has something to hide in this story, and I’m really looking forward to seeing how this mystery unfolds.

While You Were Seething by Charlotte Stein

Charlotte Stein always has such fun book titles, and this one totally reminds me of While You Were Sleeping—which is one of my all-time favourite movies. When Daisy is forced to handle the PR nightmare of her college nemesis, the now-famous romance author Caleb, the last thing she expects is to find herself trapped in a truck with him during a chaotic, chemistry-fuelled book tour. Their fake displays of affection are awkward, and pretending to be the mysterious muse he dedicates all his novels to is quickly blurring every line they swore they’d never cross. As enemies turn into something far more dangerous, Daisy and Caleb must decide whether the spark is fake or the real thing they’ve been avoiding for years.

Love Overboard by Kandi Steiner

Love Overboard is another romance book set on a boat that I’m excited to read this year. It’s a second-chance romance that follows Ember, a rising star on a Mediterranean superyacht reality show, straight into chaos when her ex joins the crew as the new chef. When cameras capture every tense exchange and lingering spark, their unresolved past becomes impossible to escape. I expect this one to be full of angst, drama, and chemistry. Since I love Below Deck, I’m really looking forward to seeing how those vibes come through in this story.

Seven Brides for Beau McBride by Amy Barry

I love the McBrides of Montana series, so I am really looking forward to reading the next book. I’m behind on The Vacation Mysteries series, but I’m still excited to read this one when it comes out. This one sounds like it will be a great read, and I can’t wait to catch up to it!

The cover and title immediately caught my eye, but the story inside promises to be a fantastic read. As Fourth of July chaos unfolds and family secrets come to light, she will have to uncover the truth quickly. It sounds like the perfect mix of mystery and romance.

Our Perfect Storm by Carley Fortune

Our Perfect Storm is definitely my most-anticipated read of the year, and I can’t wait to get my hands on it. When Frankie’s fiancé walks out on the morning of their wedding, her lifelong best friend George shows up with an unexpected plan—take the honeymoon anyway, together. One week in Tofino’s wild beauty becomes their final chance to mend the cracks in their friendship and face the feelings they’ve spent years avoiding. I’m a huge fan of Carley Fortune, so I have high hopes for this one—and I have no doubt it will become a new favourite.

First and Forever by Lynn Painter

If Our Perfect Storm is my most-anticipated read, this is a close second. I love Lynn Painter, and I will never miss reading one of her books. When die-hard football fan Duffy accidentally becomes the internet’s villain after shoving the team mascot, the last thing she expects is to end up sparring on live TV with the Coyotes’ star tight end, Connor. Their unexpected chemistry goes viral overnight, leading to a PR-engineered date that Duffy believes is real and Connor wishes actually was. As the fake publicity stunt blurs into something genuine, Connor must figure out how to tell Duffy the truth before he loses the one person he wants. I just can’t wait for the humour and the swoon-worthy romance Lynn always delivers.

Fever Dream by Elsie Silver

And if First and Forever is a close second for my most-anticipated read, then Fever Dream is a close third. I’m a huge fan of Elsie Silver, and I’m very excited to dive into a brand-new series by her. It features bull rider Emmett, who joins a reality dating show to save his family’s farm—never expecting that the one woman he can’t have will be the one who captures his attention. Julia, sharp, stubborn, and very off-limits as both the show’s location consultant and his rival’s little sister, is the last person he should be sneaking glances at and sharing stolen kisses with. But as their secret chemistry develops into something real, Emmett must choose between the role he’s paid to play and the love he never saw coming. I’m SO excited to pick this one up.

Soon by You by Dahlia Adler

I love Dahlia Adler’s books, so I’m really looking forward to Soon by You. It follows Arielle, a burner-out bridesmaid who is officially over weddings—especially when they keep putting her in the path of Judah, the charming and infuriating wedding singer who seems to judge her at every turn. But soon the snark turns to sparks, and their clashing turns into chemistry neither of them expected. It sounds like it’ll be such a fun rom-com to read!

I’m behind on the Dream Harbor series, but I’m still looking forward to picking up The Daisy Chain Flower Shop. This small-town romance follows Daisy, who’s tired of her flower shop being labelled “cursed,” especially when it’s scaring off newcomer Elliot—who’s already nursing a bruised heart of his own. When he reluctantly steps into her shop to prepare for a family visit, their unexpected connection turns into a fake relationship that feels more than pretend. As they spend time together and old hurts begin to heal, Daisy and Elliot discover that sometimes love blooms where you least expect it.

The Night Bus by Tessa Bickers

This one sounds so fun! I really do enjoy rom-coms with a magical realism twist, and this one sounds like it’ll be a great read!

There’s no way I could miss Katherine Center’s next release. How gorgeous is the cover?
