From beloved USA Today bestselling author Elsie Silver comes a brand new contemporary Western series following four single dads living very different stories. Ford Grant has just moved back to Rose Hill when he finds himself falling for his best friend’s little sister when she comes to work for him at his new recording studio.

Rosie Belmont has been driving me wild for years. The good kind of wild. The bad kind of wild. But mostly the kind of wild that comes with wanting your best friend’s little sister and knowing you can’t have her.

After living in the city, she comes blasting back into Rose Hill like a storm. Beautiful, messy, and chaotic.

And one wide-eyed desperate plea for a job is all it takes for me to hire her.

Forbes labeled me the World’s Hottest Billionaire but all I care about is opening my new recording studio. Something that comes to a screeching halt when I end up face-to-face with a young girl who claims I’m her biological father.

Now I spend my days balancing business with parenting a sullen twelve-year-old all while trying desperately to keep my hands the hell off my best friend’s little sister.

I vow to keep Rosie at arm’s length. I try to stick to scowls and grumpy one-liners. But with her verbal sparring is merely foreplay—friction that turns to blistering heat.

I know damn well I shouldn’t cross that line.

But shouldn’t and can’t are two very different things.

And the only thing I truly can’t do is resist her.

Wild Love Book Review

Some books are so addictive you keep coming back to them—and Wild Love is exactly that for me. I’ve re-read it several times, and each time it pulls me in just as deeply. It’s the first Elsie Silver book I read, and I’m so glad it was the one to introduce me to her world of stories.

Wild Love follows Ford, who returns to Rose Hill to open his new recording studio. While there, his world is shaken when he learns that he’s a father to a twelve-year-old girl, Cora. Things get even more complicated when he starts working with Rosie, his best friend’s little sister, and the girl he’s loved for years.

Ford is one of those characters who quietly steals your heart. He’s steady, thoughtful and deeply loyal—especially when it comes to the people he loves. His caring nature shines through in every decision he makes. I think the world could use more men like Ford. I love Rosie too. She’s a strong character who’s struggling to figure out her life, which is relatable on many levels. I loved being on the journey to see her get a happily ever after.

Cora? She’s hands-down my favourite character in this book. She’s layered, compelling and just so easy to root for. The bond she develops with both Ford and Rosie is incredibly heartwarming to witness. She’s just such an unforgettable character who has stayed with me every time I’ve read this book. While I love all the characters in this book, Cora really takes the cake!

I love how this book blends romance tropes without feeling overwhelming. It’s friends-to-lovers with a mixture of childhood pining (especially on Ford’s part) and a second-chance story all at once. There are serious, emotional moments woven throughout the swoony romance, giving the story the perfect balance. The pacing is spot on, the tension is addictive, and I think the emotional payoff is so satisfying.

Elsie Silver has such a special way of blending emotion, romance and character growth. There are so many moments in this book that can’t help but make you smile—the diary pages, the bowling league, the pet mouse, the pink scrunchie. While the romance is truly the heart of this story, the plot is a delight as well.

Overall, Wild Love is such a special story. It’s warm, romantic and full of heart. Elsie Silver’s writing is exceptional as always, and Ford and Rosie’s journey is one I’ll never get tired of revisiting. I’m super excited to continue my re-read of the Rose Hill series—this book reminded me exactly why it’s one of my favourite series.
