Tweet Cute Review

As soon as I heard about Tweet Cute, I’ve had a huge desire to read it. I’m so so happy that I enjoyed it as much as I did.

Tweet Cute follows Pepper, who helps run the social media account for her family’s restaurant chain. A local restaurant accuses Pepper’s family restuarant of stealing their grilled cheese recipe and a Twitter war ultimately occurs. When Pepper finds out that her school nemesis Jack is behind the other Twitter account, war between them is no longer kept behind the screen.

I really enjoyed the premise of this story. It’s really great to see how both of these characters will do anything they can to protect their family and their businesses. It definitely leads to some crazy moments! I also think its hilarious that they’re arguing about grilled cheese and their names are Pepper and Jack … aka Pepperjack!

I also really enjoyed the lighthearted romance in this book. It is a total slow-build but it’s really cute and sweet. And certainly falls into the category of an enemy-to-lover type romance, which is one of my favourite tropes!

In general, this book is super cute and fluffy. I read it really quickly and think it’s perfect for the times you just want something lighthearted to read.

I highly recommend checking it out Tweet Cute by Emma Lord when it releases this week. It really is an enjoyable, cute contemporary and a great debut novel!
