The second book in the international bestselling Maxton Hall series, now in English for the first time

After all the hurt between them, will they be able to find their way back to each other?

Ruby thought that she and James had something special. She’s never had such strong feelings for someone. And after his betrayal, she’s also never felt this much hurt. Ruby just wants her old life back before she knew anyone at Maxton Hall, especially before she knew James. But as hard as tries, she can’t forget him …

When they both receive their acceptance to Oxford, James sees it as a punishment, while Ruby sees it as a dream come true. Ruby wants to support James as he struggles with his father’s expectations of him taking over the family business. But she makes one thing very clear: she is not willing to forgive him or give him a second chance. As love and hate compete for Ruby’s heart, James will try everything he can to win her back.

Save You Book Review

After loving Save Me and binge-watching the Maxton Hall series on screen for the millionth time, I couldn’t wait to dive into Save You. I’m happy to say it was just as enjoyable as the first book, with all the drama, tension, and romance I’ve come to love in this series.

Save You continues Ruby and James’s story as they grapple with heartbreak, family pressure, and the weight of their choices at Maxton Hall. With their futures on the line and emotions running high, love and loyalty are tested in ways that could either pull them back together—or push them further apart.

I still adore Ruby and James. Their flaws make them feel real, but it’s their growth and resilience that keep me rooting for them. The tension between them is as sharp as ever, and I enjoyed watching their dynamic continue to evolve. Even when they stumble, their connection remains compelling and heartfelt.

I’ll be honest—the plot in this one didn’t blow me away, but it was still engaging and enjoyable. What really carries the story for me is the mix of drama, romance, and emotional intensity. It’s addictive in the best way, the kind of book you can fly through while fully immersed in Ruby and James’s world. And knowing that season two of Maxton Hall is on the horizon makes me even more excited to see how these storylines will play out on screen.

Overall, Save You delivers exactly what I hoped for—a continuation filled with passion, drama, and enough twists to keep me hooked. It might not be my favourite in the series so far, but it still left me eager to pick up the third and final book to see how Ruby and James’s journey wraps up. If you enjoyed Save Me, you’ll definitely want to keep going with this one.
