Another month is complete which means it’s time to share my March 2025 reading wrap-up!
Just like January and February, my reading was so slow in March. I’ve been so busy with teaching and some other important tasks that my reading is taking a hit.
I’m really looking forward to some things being off my plate soon so that I can prioritize more reading. There are so many incredible books I’m excited to pick up. Hopefully, I’ll be able to read more in April (even though I’ve been saying that every month so far).
I read three books in March — one backlist book and two brand-new releases. While it was a slow reading month, I enjoyed what I read. I’m excited to see what April brings for me.

March 2025 Reading Wrap Up

Done and Dusted by Lyla Sage. I’ve been wanting to pick up Done and Dusted for so long! Especially after diving into the world of Elsie Silver, I knew this would be a book I would enjoy. I don’t think I loved it quite as much as I expected, but I still enjoyed it. It was sweet and cute — and exactly what I needed to start my month off. I was also able to read it quickly, which was nice to be back to my normal reading speed!
Wild Side by Elsie Silver. I am such a huge fan of Elsie Silver and I’ve been eagerly waiting for the release of Wild Side. I don’t think I loved this one as much as I expected, which is unfortunate. But, I do believe that my enjoyment was impacted by how busy I was in my life. Normally, I speed through Elsie’s books but this took me most of the month to read. I plan on re-reading this series at some point so I’m sure my opinion will change and I’ll enjoy it more next time!
Beautiful Ugly by Alice Feeney. After reading Rock, Paper, Scissors last month, I was excited that my next book club pick was another Alice Feeney book. I have to say, I enjoyed this one but I really enjoyed Rock, Paper, Scissors more. It also seemed to be the consensus of my book club. They had very similar themes but the overall delivery of suspense and twists seemed to be more enjoyable in Rock, Paper, Scissors for me. I’m excited to pick up more of Alice Feeney’s books though, her writing is great!

Hi I enjoyed Beautiful Ugly as well but the ending was little confusing.
Hi Priyasha!
I agree, the ending was confusing and just a little flat for me. But I’m curious to read more from her since I enjoyed Rock, Paper, Scissors.
