WWW Wednesday — August 5, 2020

I haven’t done a WWW Wednesday in a while, but I’m ready to get back into the swing of it!

Even though I’ve been at home for months, my reading hasn’t been that great. I’ve been working on my site, which has had so many problems. And with everything going on in the world, it’s been hard to focus on reading.

But, I’m finally back into reading and I’m excited to share my recent reads with you all for WWW Wednesday!

WWW Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Sam at Taking on a World of Words. The purpose is to answer three questions: what you’re reading, what you recently read and what you’re reading next!

Currently Reading

A few years ago, I started to read the Throne of Glass series. I made it all the way up to Queen of Shadows but I never continued. One of my friends is reading the series for the first time so we are buddy reading it! I’m really excited to be back in this world … and actually finish the series this time!

I’ve also been in a huge romance mood recently. I think it’s because they are such easy, lighthearted reads! I am only a few pages into The Wedding Party but it helps to tone things down while reading Throne of Glass.

Recently Read

I read Well Met back in January but I was in such a mood to read it again! It’s such a wonderful book and I’m so, so excited for Well Played next month!

I’ve also read The Wedding Date before. But since I want to read the rest of Jasmine Guillory’s books, it is nice to have the refresher. I quickly jumped into The Proposal, which is just as cute as the first book! I love that the characters crossover!

Reading Next

I’m up at my cottage for the week so I had to bring some books up. I’m not sure if my friend will finish Throne of Glass this week. So I think some romance books will be up next!

I think I’ll continue with the Jasmine Guillory trend and continue with Royal Holiday and Party of Two.

Let me know in the comments below what you are currently reading! Be sure to leave a link to your own WWW Wednesday post so I can take a look!

Happy reading, everyone!

    1. That’s exactly what happened to me too! There’s no reason I stopped because I loved Queen of Shadows, but I guess life got in the way! It is such a big commitment so reading it with my friend gave me a kick to actually finish it! 😊

  2. I love your list and I’m so happy for you that you were able to get back into reading! The site looks great 🙂 I have the entire Throne of Glass series sitting on my bookshelves waiting for me to read. I’ve seen so many mixed reviews and a friend of mine gifted me the set (great gift btw) and I hope to start it someday.

    Happy reading!

    1. Aww, thank you so much! Even though I read up to Queen of Shadows, they really have been sitting there for so long … so I’m in the same boat! Reading it with my friend has been fun though so I’m hoping we both continue to enjoy it! I forget half of what happened so it’s like reading it for the first time again!
