St. Patrick’s Day Write the Room

Description

This St. Patrick’s Day Write the Room is an engaging and interactive literacy activity to add to your spring centres. It’s a great way to introduce brand-new vocabulary to your students while adding movement to your March literacy centres!

Featuring clear and simple images and text, Write the Room encourages your students to move around the classroom to find the St. Patrick’s Day words, record them, and practice their writing. It is a great activity for promoting fine motor skills, vocabulary recognition, and early writing skills.

This is a simple, low-prep activity. Print, cut and laminate the word cards and place them around the room. Students will then walk around the room with a clipboard and recording sheet to find the St. Patrick’s Day words. Then, they will match the picture on their card with the picture on their recording sheet and write the word.
