It’s been a while since I picked up House of Earth and Blood. With the final book in the Crescent City releasing early next year, I knew it was time to pick up the sequel and I’m glad I did because I loved it! House of Sky and Breath picks up after the events of House of Earth and Blood. Without any spoilers, the series follows Bryce, a half-human and half-fae, who investigates the murders of her closest friends. Hunt, a Fallen Angel, assists Bryce in the investigation in order to earn his freedom.
A Court of Silver Flames by Sarah J Maas
A Court of Thorns and Roses is one of my all time favourite series. After hearing that Nesta would be getting her own series, I’ve been eagerly waiting for its release. Thankfully, Sarah J Maas didn’t let me down. A Court of Silver Flames picks up after the events of A Court of Wings and Ruin. It follows Nesta, who is struggling with becoming a Fae as well as living in the Night Court. While trying to cope, the threat of war is once again a prospect, forcing Nesta to confront problems of the past, and of the present.
Empire of Storms by Sarah J Maas
Another great addition to the Throne of Glass world! I’m so sad this series is almost over because it’s just been so enjoyable! Empire of Storms picks up right after the events of Queen of Shadows. Since I’m avoiding spoilers, the series follows Caelana Sardothien as she competes to be the King’s Champion and personal assassin.
Queen of Shadows by Sarah J Maas
While I’ve been enjoying the Throne of Glass series, this book is definitely my favourite. Queen of Shadows takes the series to another level and one I’m quite excited to see continue! Queen of Shadows picks up after the events of Heir of Fire. The series follows Celaena Sardothien as she competes to become the King’s Champion and his personal assassin.
The Assassin’s Blade by Sarah J Maas
After reading the four of the books in the Throne of Glass series, I got away from it. But, recently started reading the series again with a good friend of mine. I’m so glad I did because I’m really enjoying it! The Assassin’s Blade is a series of short stories set inside the Throne of Glass world. The stories follow Celaena before the start of Throne of Glass and her experiences as an assassin.
House of Earth and Blood by Sarah J Maas
Ever since hearing about Sarah J Maas’ first adult fantasy, I’ve been eagerly waiting its release! I was absolutely shocked when Raincoast Books sent me an ARC of it and let me tell you, this book did not disappoint! House of Earth and Blood follows Bryce, a half-human, half-fae, as she investigates the brutal murder of her friends. Hunt is a Fallen Angel who assists Bryce during the investigation in order to gain his freedom.
Heir of Fire by Sarah J. Maas
I have quickly become a Sarah J Maas fan! Her writing and the worlds she creates are just so engrossing. Unfortunately, this one just fell so flat for me. Heir of Fire is the third book in the Throne of Glass series. It follows Celeana Sardothien as she competes to become the King’s Champion and personal assassin.
Crown of Midnight by Sarah J Maas
After reading and loving Throne of Glass, I’m happy I’ve finally read the sequel. It’s another really great book in the world of Sarah J Maas. The Throne of Glass series follows Celaena as she competes to become the King’s Champion. Because I’m avoiding spoilers, Crown of Midnight picks up right after the events of the first book and adds some extra mystery to the plot!
A Court of Frost and Starlight by Sarah J Maas
After reading the A Court of Thorns and Roses series, I couldn’t wait to get my hands on this book. I love the world and characters so much, I needed more of them in my life! A Court of Frost and Starlight is a novella set after the events of A Court of Wings and Ruin. It also serves as a bridge to the next three books that will release in the coming years.
A Court of Wings and Ruin by Sarah J. Maas
When I started this series, I didn’t know I was about to take a wild ride. I also didn’t know they would become some of my favourite books ever. The A Court of Thorns and Roses series follows Feyre who kills a wolf in the woods. After that, she’s taken to the land of faeries to atone for it. It’s an epic high-fantasy series that’s totally worth the hype!
A Court of Mist and Fury by Sarah J. Maas
After reading A Court of Thorns and Roses, I knew I would really enjoy the sequel. But I didn’t think I would love it this much. A Court of Mist and Fury is probably one of the best books I’ve ever read. A Court of Mist and Fury picks up after the events of the first book. The series follows Feyre as she’s taken to the land of faeries after killing a wolf.
A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J. Maas
After reading Throne of Glass recently, I didn’t think Sarah J Maas’ books could get any better. But wow, was I ever wrong! I’m officially a Sarah J Maas convert. A Court of Thorns and Roses follows Feyre, who kills a wolf in the woods and is taken captive because of it. Her time in the land of faeries is both scary and exhilarating. The story is a retelling of Beauty and the Beast.
