As Feyre navigates its dark web of politics, passion, and dazzling power, a greater evil looms β and she might be key to stopping it. But only if she can harness her harrowing gifts, heal her fractured soul, and decide how she wishes to shape her future β and the future of a world torn apart.
A Court of Mist and Fury Review
After reading A Court of Thorns and Roses, I knew I would really enjoy the sequel. But I didn’t think I would love it this much. A Court of Mist and Fury is probably one of the best books I’ve ever read.
A Court of Mist and Fury picks up after the events of the first book. The series follows Feyre as she’s taken to the land of faeries after killing a wolf.
Despite loving her in the first book, Feyre just gets better in the sequel. Not only is she becoming stronger, but she’s really becoming her own person. I just love witnessing her development and can honestly say she’s one of my favourite characters.
The characters in this book in general are all fantastic. Rhysand will forever be the best – I seriously adore him. But the introduction of new characters are fantastic. Mor, Cassian, Azriel and Amran are all amazing – I love their banter with each other!
I also love the insight we get into the Night Court in this book. Seeing it through the eyes of these characters is pretty incredible.
The storyline really picks up in this sequel and is once again, a wonderful plot. It really leads up for an epic conclusion, which I’m excited to get to.
Another thing I continue to love about this series is Sarah J Maas’ writing. The writing makes you laugh and cry, all with the written word. And this is all while constantly making you turn the page for more!
While I recommended this series after reading A Court of Thorns and Roses, I truly recommend it now. This book brings the series to a whole new level that’s just fantastic.
Overall, if you’re looking for a high-fantasy, new adult book with some romance, this is the book for you! I’m so excited to see how everything ends in the next book!
