I’ve heard so many wonderful things about Neal Shusterman books. It’s taken me a long time to finally pick one up but I’m glad I finally did. Scythe follows two characters, Citra and Rowan as they become Scythe apprentices in a dystopian world.
Blood Will Out by Jo Treggiari Blog Tour
Thrillers are outside of my comfort zone and are usually last on my list of books to read. When PenguinTeen Canada asked me to join this tour, I figured it was the perfect chance to try something new. Blood Will Out follows Ari who wakes up at the bottom of a cistern. She spends the course of the book trying to figure out what happened and who is trying to murder her.
Crown of Midnight by Sarah J Maas
After reading and loving Throne of Glass, I’m happy I’ve finally read the sequel. It’s another really great book in the world of Sarah J Maas. The Throne of Glass series follows Celaena as she competes to become the King’s Champion. Because I’m avoiding spoilers, Crown of Midnight picks up right after the events of the first book and adds some extra mystery to the plot!
Chapters Indigo Members Night Book Haul
The other day, I was invited to an after hours shopping event at my local Chapters store. So today I’m sharing my Chapters Indigo Members Night book haul! The members only night is by invitation only and gives members an opportunity to shop for two hours after the store closes. It also gives you 30% off of your purchase!
Save the Date by Morgan Matson
Since I read The Unexpected Everything, I’ve been excited to pick up another book by Morgan Matson. While Save the Date is different from her previous book, I really enjoyed it! Save the Date follows Charlie and her family as they prepare for her sister’s wedding. Since the book takes place over the course of a weekend, everything seems to go wrong. Because of this, it’s a weekend filled with drama, chaos and dealing with change.
Q&A with Morgan Matson and a Giveaway
I am so excited to be joining the Save the Date blog tour with the Fantastic Flying Book Club! Today, I’m sharing a Q&A with Morgan Matson! Morgan Matson has quickly become one of my favourite young adult contemporary authors. It’s been amazing to not only review her newest book, but also to ask her some questions.
