With the final book in the Crescent City releasing early next year, I knew it was time to pick up the sequel and I’m glad I did because I loved it! Without any spoilers, the series follows Bryce, a half-human and half-fae, who investigates the murders of her closest friends. Hunt, a Fallen Angel, assists Bryce in the investigation in order to earn his freedom.

After hearing about Fourth Wing, I wasn’t sure if it was going to be a book for me. With so much hype surrounding it, I didn’t want it to fall flat. But, a friend told me I would love it and she was so right! I absolutely loved every minute of this book! Fourth Wing follows Violet, who has been training to enter into the Scribe Quadrant.

Just like that, August has slipped away â which makes it the perfect time to share my August reading wrap up. I’ve been soaking up the last days of summer before I’m back to work in September. While it’s exciting to go back to the classroom, it also feels like the summer went by so fast. I’m not quite ready for it to come to an end!
