The first month of the new year is already done, and I for one, cannot believe it. Time is certainly flying. So today, I’m sharing my January 2021 reading wrap-up!
I had a great reading month and it makes it a great start to my reading year. While 2020 was filled with a lot of re-reads, my January 2021 reading has all been new releases and backlist books.
I’m really hoping that this start to my reading year means it will be a full year of discovering new favourite books and authors!
January 2021 Reading Wrap-Up
You Have a Match by Emma Lord: I absolutely loved Tweet Cute last year, and was really excited to read her next book. While I didn’t love You Have a Match, I can see how a lot of people are enjoying it. I’m still looking forward to more of Emma Lord’s books in the future!
Empire of Storms by Sarah J Maas: My Throne of Glass buddy read is continuing and I quickly got through Empire of Storms. I really enjoyed this one and am so excited to see how things continue. I can’t believe I’m so close to the end!
We Dream of Space by Erin Entrada Kelly: I absolutely adored every minute of this middle grade space book! It has beautiful writing and wonderful characters. I loved being immersed in the 80s and understanding the emotional experience of the Challenger disaster.
The Meet-Cute Project by Rhiannon Richardson: Another cute new release of 2021! The Meet-Cute Project is a really cute, fluffy, lighthearted read all about finding your meet cute. I really enjoyed the characters and the overall plot.
The Project by Courtney Summers: I absolutely loved Sadie and have been excited to read The Project. While I didn’t love The Project, it’s still an interesting read with great writing. But for now, Sadie is still my favourite.
The Roommate by Rosie Danan: I wanted a nice fluffy rom-com and I certainly got it with The Roommate. I really enjoyed this one! It was a quick read with great characters and was really steamy!!
Tower of Dawn by Sarah J Maas: Another Sarah J Maas book! I’m almost finished with this series and I can’t believe it. While I didn’t love this one, it is still an enjoyable addition to the series.
