It’s been a long time since I’ve read a book by Judy Blume. While Forever has been released for a long time now, it’s releasing in 2024 with a brand new cover. I never got a chance to read this one, so I’m looking forward to picking up this brand new copy!

There’s nothing better than a young adult contemporary romance, at least in my opinion! Arya Khanna’s Bollywood Moment follows Arya, who has dreams for her senior year, but they’re not going to plan. When she tries to keep the peace at home, at school and with her friends, she learns that things don’t always work like they do in a Bollywood movie. It’s going to be such a fun read and I’m so excited to pick it up!

The Atlas of Us by Kristin Dwyer
The Atlas of Us follows Atlas, who feels like she’s lost her way in life. When she gets the chance to work on a community service program, she heads out on a wilderness trail with four others. While working together, she discovers that these new friends might know her better than anyone else. I feel like this is going to be a really heartfelt contemporary.

The Lost Ones by Lauren De Stefano
It’s not a complete list of books I’m excited about if there isn’t a Disney themed book on it. The Lost Ones is the second book in The Dark Ascension series, which focuses on Disney villains. This new releases shares the story of Captain Hook and his twin sister Marlene, before he was the villain of Neverland.

A Drop of Venom by Sajni Patel
I’m so excited to pick up this new fantasy from the Rick Riordan Presents series. A Drop of Venom is a feminist retelling of Medusa with Indian mythology mixed throughout. I just know this one is going to be action packed and will keep readers turning each page!

The Getaway List by Emma Lord
I absolutely love Emma Lord’s young adult books and I’m so excited to pick up her newest release! The Getaway List follows Riley, who decides to pack up and move to New York City for the summer following high school graduation. While there, she meets up with her childhood best friend Tom, and they spend their summer completing adventures on their Getaway List. I just know this is going to be another entertaining book from Emma Lord!

I’m excited to read a shorter story from Kasie West and if it’s anything like her other releases, I know it’ll be enjoyable.

These Deadly Prophecies by Andrea Tang
One of my goals for the next year is to read more mystery books. These Deadly Prophecies follows Tabatha, a teenage sorcerer who is also an apprentice for the world’s most famous sorcerer. When her boss predicts his own death, and it comes true, Tabatha needs to solve the mystery and prove her innocence. This one sounds like it’s going to be a really twisty mystery and I’m so excited to pick it up!

I Hope This Doesn’t Find You by Ann Liang
As soon as I heard about I Hope This Doesn’t Find You, it immediately reminded me of To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before. It follows Sadie, who is perfect on paper and decides to channel her frustration into perfectly crafted e-mails. When her e-mails are accidentally sent out, her life turns upside down. But one person appreciates the “real” Sadie — her nemesis, Julius.

Relit: 16 Latinx Remixes of Classic Stories edited by Sandra Proudman
Relit is another young adult anthology on this list that I’m looking forward to picking up! It features sixteen classic stories, reimagined with a Latinx point of view. I’m particularly excited to read the Pride and Prejudice and the Great Gatsby stories! I love the idea of this anthology and with the mixture of authors, I think it’ll be an entertaining read.

As soon as I heard about The Boyfriend Wish, I immediately added it to my list of books to read. It follow Deepa, a hopeless romantic who makes a wish on a flower for the perfect boyfriend. When her wish comes true and a new boy moves in next door, she feels like it’s a sign. But, something doesn’t feel right. It just sounds like such an adorable book!

I enjoyed Ellen O’Clover’s debut contemporary, so I’m looking forward to picking this one up. Before Audrey was born, her mother wrote a self-help book with letters to her future daughter.
