The publisher kindly provided me with a digital copy of the book in exchange for an honest review.
Two weeks on the road … stuck in a car with your high-school enemy.
Noelle Shepard is grieving the loss of her beloved grandmother when she discovers decades-old photos and letters that hint to a forbidden love in her gram’s past. Needing to know the full story, she creates a TikTok video appealing for information — and it goes viral.
Through her video, she manages to track down her grandmother’s secret love, Paul, who offers to take her on the honeymoon road-trip he and Gram planned but never got to go on.
Noelle jumps at the chance to make this one last connection with her grandmother. There’s just one problem — Paul’s grandson is Noelle’s frustratingly handsome high-school rival Theo.
And Theo has to come, too.
It’s only two weeks. Surely Noelle can survive that long? But with one car between them — and often only one bed — it doesn’t take long for things to heat up …
You, with a View Book Review
As soon as I heard about this book, I immediately added it to my TBR. This book will stick with me for a while — I loved every minute of it and I can’t wait to pick more books by Jessica Joyce in the future.
You, with a View follows Noelle, who is dealing with the recent loss of her grandmother. When she discovers old love letters between her grandmother and former love, she decides to investigate. The only problem is her grandmother’s former love is the grandfather of her high school rival, Theo.
I absolutely adored each and every character in this book. Noelle is just really captivating. Even though she’s disappointed in learning something new about her grandmother, I love that in the end, it brings them closer.
Theo is a great love interest and I also love the connection that he shares with his grandfather. While his relationship with Noelle starts off as a rivalry, it really blossoms and I loved it the whole way through.
It’s quite possible that this book worked so much for me because of the time that I read it. I lost my grandmother earlier this year and it’s been extremely difficult for me. I was so close with my grandmother and it’s hard to lose a person that you have a deep connection with.
It’s possible I connected with this book so much because of the connection that Noelle and Theo have with their respective grandparent. But the way this story is delivered showed me that I would have loved it even if that connection wasn’t there.
I also loved every minute of the plot. The love letters and the road trip are just such a great addition to an already enjoyable romance. As soon as I started this book, I knew that the writing, the plot and the characters were all going to work for me.
Overall, You, with a View is a fantastic debut contemporary romance from Jessica Joyce. It’s inspiring and while there is a hint of grief and healing throughout, it really shines as a delightful story.
I can’t wait to read more from her in the future!

About the Author
Jessica Joyce grew up a voracious reader who quickly learned how to walk and read simultaneously to maximize her reading time. Thanks to a family full of romance-novel-adoring women, she discovered love stories and never looked back. When she’s not writing, you can find her listening to one of her chaotically curated playlists, crying over TikToks, eating her way through the Bay Area with her husband and son, or watching the 2005 version of Pride & Prejudice.
