The Ghosteleers Review
Hashtag Press releases some really enjoyable middle grade books. The Ghosteleers is no exception!
The Ghosteleers is a middle grade fantasy and adventure book. It follows Norman and his cat Morph who wake up in a new mysterious world. As a result, they join a team of Ghosteleers, who protect humans from harm using telekinetic powers!
The characters in this book are so enjoyable! They’re lively, entertaining and everything a middle grade reader could want. Norman and his cat Morph are so close with each other that it’s heartwarming. It really shows young readers that friendship, as well as teamwork, are important in life.
The plot of The Ghosteelers is also great. It’s super fun and has a fast pace. While it is a shorter book, it’s full of action and humour that keeps you turning the page. It has some mystery and suspense but it also has a strong message at its core.
It could be my interpretation but I think there is a message of friendship in this book. Norman and Morph go through everything together and lean on one another. I think this is certainly an important message for young readers. Leaning on others is important, and is definitely a good thing!
Overall, I think middle grade readers will love The Ghosteleers. It has adventure, mystery and wonderful characters with telekinetic powers!
I definitely recommend this book to young readers because it is geared towards their enjoyment. But, it’s a quick and fun read that could be great as a classroom read-aloud!
