Alex, Approximately has been on my radar for a long time. I’ve heard so many great things about this book and Jenn Bennett in general. I’m SO glad I finally got around to reading this book. I absolutely adore it.

I’m seriously hooked on fun rom-coms these days! I have been hearing about Fix Her Up everywhere! I’m so happy that it’s a fun, entertaining read! Fix Her Up follows Georgie and her brother’s best friend, Travis. Georgie is trying to run her own business while proving herself to her family.
Waiting for Tom Hanks by Kerry Winfrey
Since I’ve been enjoying romance books lately, I’ve been looking forward to reading this book. I’m so glad that I loved this book as much as I thought I would! Waiting for Tom Hanks follows Annie who is obsessed with romantic comedies as well as Tom Hanks. She’s waiting to find her Tom Hanks and hopes that her love life will resemble her favourite rom-com movies.
The Rest of the Story by Sarah Dessen
When I first started reading young adult books, Sarah Dessen was one of the first authors I discovered. I’m so happy to have another one of her books to read! The Rest of the Story follows Emma Saylor who spends the summer with her Mother’s family, who she hasn’t seen in years.
The Bride Test by Helen Hoang
After reading The Kiss Quotient last year, I’ve been eagerly waiting for The Bride Test. I’m so happy that I loved this sequel as much as the first book! The Bride Test follows Khai, a young adult on the autism spectrum. His mother decides to travel to Vietnam to try and find him a wife. She ends up finding Esme, a cleaning lady from Vietnam and sends her to live with Khai for the summer.
Listen to Your Heart by Kasie West
Wow, I really love this book. So far, it is my favourite Kasie West book and I’ve honestly enjoyed every one of her books. While I still have several more of her backlist to read, this one is sitting at the top of my list! Listen to Your Heart follows Kate who lives by a lake and always wants to be in it.

This is such a cute contemporary romance! The writing is fantastic and the story is just super adorable! The Beauty of the Moment follows Susan who recently moved to Canada. She’s struggling to fit in her new country and her school. But she soon finds that it’s the perfect place to be.
99 Percent Mine by Sally Thorne
Since I’ve heard nothing but incredible things about The Hating Game, I went into this book with high expectations. But unfortunately, I didn’t really love this book as much as I thought I would. 99 Percent Mine follows Darcy Barrett who inherits her Grandmother’s cottage, with her twin brother, following her death.

After reading Kasie West for the first time last year, I’m slowly making my way through her backlist titles. By Your Side is my favourite Kasie West book so far! By Your Side follows Autumn who is accidentally locked in a library with another student, Dax. It’s all about navigating relationships, friendships, growing up and facing fear and anxiety.

This book is such a sweet and cute contemporary that showcases all the good and the bad of growing up. It’s a summer full of love, breakups and makeups, and finding yourself. This book has been on my radar, and I’m so glad I loved it!There are so many aspects of this book that I enjoyed. But let me first talk about the characters. These characters were all so enjoyable. Babe is such a wonderful protaganist. She’s super relatable as she desperately wants to enjoy things before change inevitably happens. Which I think is something we can all relate to when growing up.

After reading my first Kasie West book last year, I’ve been wanting to read all of her books. Before this one, I’ve read a total of three. Unfortunately, Fame, Fate and the First Kiss is not one of my favourites. Fame, Fate and the First Kiss follows Lacey, who is trying to achieve her dream of being an actress.
