And I’m so glad to say that I really enjoyed Very Sincerely Yours! Very Sincerely Yours follows Teddy whose boyfriend dumps her and changes the course of her life. On a whim, she decides to e-mail the star of her favourite show, Everett St. James which starts a pen-pal relationship. But what she doesn’t expect is for her real life to collide with Everett’s outside of their e-mails.

After reading my first Kasie West book, I quickly fell in love with her writing and stories. She’s on my list of auto-buy authors and I have been so excited to read her newest release. I’m so happy I loved it! Sunkissed follows Avery, who spends the summer at a summer camping resort with her family. While there, she meets new friends, a cute boy and discovers more about who she truly is.

I have been wanting to read Beach Read ever since I heard all the hype surrounding it. While I haven’t read it yet, I’m happy to say that I really enjoyed her second adult novel, People We Meet on Vacation. People We Meet on Vacation follows Poppy and Alex, two best friends who met in college. Every summer the two of them go on vacation together but after one of them, they stop talking. After two years, Poppy asks Alex to join her on vacation so they can fix their friendship.

I’m a HUGE fan of Emily Wibberley and Austin Siegemund-Broka. Not only are they wonderful authors who write great books, but they’re also two of the kindest people ever. I’ve been so excited to read their newest release and it’s just a fantastic read!

After a chance encounter, the two keep coming across one another and try to navigate their life choices together.

If I’m Being Honest is my favourite book by Emily Wibberley and Austin Siegemund-Broka so far! It has great characters, fantastic writing as well as a loveable storyline! If I’m Being Honest follows Cameron, a high school senior with a rough reputation. She’s popular but she’s also blunt and brutal. In order to change her crush’s perception of her, she decides to right her wrongs, starting with a fellow student, Brendan.
Second First Impressions by Sally Thorne
Going into this book, I was really excited about the unique setting — especially for a contemporary romance. While I enjoyed this book, it’s not one of my all-time favourites. Second First Impressions follows Ruthie, a 25 (going on 80) year old who works in a retirement community.

I’ve been hearing about The Roommate for a while, so I decided it was finally time to pick it up! It’s a fun and enjoyable romance! The Roommate follows Clara, who moves across the country to live with her childhood friend and crush. Once she arrives, she finds out that her childhood crush will not be staying and another roommate, Josh, will be moving in.
The Meet Cute Project by Rhiannon Richardson
As soon as I heard about The Meet Cute Project, I immediately added it to my list of books to read in 2021. It’s a very sweet and charming young adult debut and I’m glad I read it! The Meet Cute Project follows Mia who needs to find a date to her sister’s upcoming wedding. Her friends, who all love rom-coms decide to set her up with meet-cutes to help her find a date.
Accidentally Engaged by Farah Heron
Accidentally Engaged is my first Farah Heron novel and I really enjoyed it! I loved the writing, the Canadian setting and the overall story is so sweet. Accidentally Engaged follows Reena, a 31-year old who loves baking. While she attempts to please her family, she’s also chasing her own baking dreams. After entering a couples cooking competition, she pretends to be engaged to her neighbour Nadim.
