A Court of Thorns and Roses is one of my all time favourite series. After hearing that Nesta would be getting her own series, I’ve been eagerly waiting for its release. Thankfully, Sarah J Maas didn’t let me down. A Court of Silver Flames picks up after the events of A Court of Wings and Ruin. It follows Nesta, who is struggling with becoming a Fae as well as living in the Night Court. While trying to cope, the threat of war is once again a prospect, forcing Nesta to confront problems of the past, and of the present.
The Last Legacy by Adrienne Young
After absolutely loving Fable and Namesake, I spent a lot of time eagerly waiting for the release of The Last Legacy. This book is so good and will leave you desperately wanting more. The Last Legacy follows Brynn, who goes to live with her Uncle on her eighteenth birthday. Once there, they bring her into the family business, which leads to power struggles, deception and forbidden romance.

After reading Fable last year, I quickly fell in love with Adrienne Young’s writing and stories. I loved the book so much that it made my list of top ten favourite books for 2020. Namesake picks up after the events of the first book, Fable. The series follows Fable, a dredger who enlists the help of a trading ship to find her father. Once she’s able to find her father, she hopes to join his successful trading crew.

Another great addition to the Throne of Glass world! I’m so sad this series is almost over because it’s just been so enjoyable! Empire of Storms picks up right after the events of Queen of Shadows. Since I’m avoiding spoilers, the series follows Caelana Sardothien as she competes to be the King’s Champion and personal assassin.

While I’ve been enjoying the Throne of Glass series, this book is definitely my favourite. Queen of Shadows takes the series to another level and one I’m quite excited to see continue! Queen of Shadows picks up after the events of Heir of Fire. The series follows Celaena Sardothien as she competes to become the King’s Champion and his personal assassin.

When books are hyped up, I can be skeptical about whether I’ll enjoy the book or not. But, after hearing my book friends Brittany, Milana and Flavia rave about Fable, it was time to pick it up. Fable follows seventeen year old Fable who has been surviving on an island for four years.

After reading the four of the books in the Throne of Glass series, I got away from it. But, recently started reading the series again with a good friend of mine. I’m so glad I did because I’m really enjoying it! The Assassin’s Blade is a series of short stories set inside the Throne of Glass world. The stories follow Celaena before the start of Throne of Glass and her experiences as an assassin.
