As soon as I heard about The Meet Cute Project, I immediately added it to my list of books to read in 2021. It’s a very sweet and charming young adult debut and I’m glad I read it! The Meet Cute Project follows Mia who needs to find a date to her sister’s upcoming wedding. Her friends, who all love rom-coms decide to set her up with meet-cutes to help her find a date.
The Cousins by Karen M McManus
This is my second Karen M McManus book, and I’m still really impressed with her mysteries! This one is my favourite so far. The Cousins follows three cousins, Milly, Aubrey and Jonah. They each receive a letter from their Grandmother asking them to work at her resort for the summer.
Fable by Adrienne Young
When books are hyped up, I can be skeptical about whether I’ll enjoy the book or not. But, after hearing my book friends Brittany, Milana and Flavia rave about Fable, it was time to pick it up. Fable follows seventeen year old Fable who has been surviving on an island for four years.
Undercover Bromance by Lyssa Kay Adams
After reading The Bromance Book Club, I immediately jumped into reading the sequel. While I didn’t love it as much as the first book, it’s a solid sequel! Undercover Bromance follows Braden Mack, the leader of the Bromance book club as well as Liv, Thea’s younger sister. After Liv catches her boss harassing a co-worker, she works with Braden to expose him.

Kingdom of the Wicked by Kerri Maniscalco
After reading and loving the Stalking Jack the Ripper series last year, I’ve been eagerly anticipating Kingdom of the Wicked. After the death of Vittoria, Emilia sets out to find the murderer all while working alongside one of the wicked princes of Hell, Wrath.

The Queen’s Assassin by Melissa de la Cruz
I really enjoy books set in kingdoms that follow royalty so I was really excited to read The Queen’s AssassinSince hearing about it, it seemed like a perfect fit for me. Unfortunately, this book was a really disappointing read for me.
The Queen’s Assassin follows Shadow, a young girl who desperately wants to join a league of assassins called The Guild. The book also follows Caledon, the Queen’s personal assassin who is bound to her by blood because of an oath his father makes. A series of events brings Shadow and Caledon together and they work together to uncover secrets within the kingdom.
The Guest List by Lucy Foley
One of my reading goals is to read more thrillers. I really do love a good mystery so I’m hoping to add more to my list of books to read. After hearing about The Guest List, I immediately added it to my list of books to read. Also, I love Reese Witherspoon and it happens to be one of her book club picks.
ARC Review | The Ninth Sorceress by Bonnie Wynne
I’m a huge fan of both young adult fantasy and contemporary. But nothing beats a great fantasy read. I’m so happy that The Ninth Sorceress is one of those reads.
The Ninth Sorceress is a fantasy debut that follows a seventeen year old girl named Gwyn. Gwyn is a prisoner because her guardian is hiding her. People also happen to fear her, but she’s unsure of the reason. The Ninth Sorceress is a book full of self-discovery, magic and adventure!
One of the best aspects about this novel are the characters. I really enjoy Gwyn as a main character because she’s relatable. She’s really fierce and strong and I think her character growth throughout the book is great. I’m looking forward to seeing how she grows in the next book.
Blog Tour | The Grey Sisters by Jo Treggiari
Jo Treggiari certainly excels in creating suspenseful thrillers. I really enjoyed her previous book, Blood Will Out, and this one is no different.
The Grey Sisters follows D and Spider. They’re both navigating the loss of siblings after a terrible and unexpected plane crash. D, Spider and their friend Min decide to go on a road trip to seek answers to the crash and gain some closure. While on this trip, they meet Ariel – a girl who lives on the mountainside.
