Every book I’ve picked up by Kasey Stockton has been enjoyable so I’m looking forward to this new release from her! Recipe for Rivals is the third book in the Arcadia Creek series and even though I’m behind, I’m still excited to read it! It follows Nova, who moves to Arcadia Creek to work at her aunt’s diner after her divorce. While there, she meets Dusty, a charming fireman and their friendly rivalry turns into something more. Beg, Borrow, or Steal by Sarah Adams
Sarah Adams is back with a new book in the When in Rome series. If you love rivals-to-lovers, you’ll want to pick it up. Jenny Holiday always writes such wonderful romance stories. Into the Woods follows Teddy, who accepts a last-minute job to fill in at a summer arts camp. But, the problem is he doesn’t like kids or nature. While there, he meets Gretchen and even though they originally clash, their friendship grows throughout the summer. If you’re a fan of enemies-to-lovers story with an outdoor setting, this is the book for you!

Temple of Swoon by Jo Segura
If you’re a big fan of Indiana Jones like I am, you’ll want to pick up this new adventure romance. Temple of Swoon sounds like the perfect mixture of Indiana Jones and Lara Croft: Tomb Raider with romance. It follows Dr. Miriam Jacobs who is in charge of an expedition through the Amazon to find the Lost City of the Moon. Rafael is a journalist on the expedition team who tries everything he can to stop them from locating the lost city. Even with Rafael’s tricks, they learn they must work together since there are others out there looking, and they are gaining on them.

The Path to Loving Him by Meghan Quinn
If Meghan Quinn writes a book, I will always pick it up. The Path to Loving Him is the next book in the Almond Bay series, which features small-town romance stories. It follows Gabby, who decides to have a one-night stand with a man in a bar after a disappointing job interview. When she leaves the next morning, she’s surprised to learn she got the job as the assistant baseball coach at Almond Bay High School. The only problem is she’ll be working with Ryland — her one-night stand. It’s the perfect mixture of enemies-to-lovers with forced proximity and I’m so excited to read it!

Wedding Dashers by Heather McBreen

To make it to Belfast for the wedding, Ada and Jack have no choice but to work together. Wedding Dashers is one of the few debuts I pre-ordered this year and I’m so excited to read it.

I’m excited to read another romance by Lauren Kung Jessen. Yin Yang Love Song follows Chryssy, a Chinese herbalist who after another breakup decides to run a healing retreat for the broken-hearted with her aunts. When she meets celebrity cellist and bad boy Vin, she offers him a deal: they’ll fake date and he’ll break her heart to increase ticket sales while also promoting her business.

Deep End by Ali Hazelwood
If Ali Hazelwood releases a romance, I will read it! Deep End is a steamy college romance that follows a competitive diver and an ace swimmer as they start a temporary fling that ultimately turns into something more. Even though I love her STEM romance books, I’m really excited to read a sports romance from Ali Hazelwood!

Dream Girl Drama by Tessa Bailey
I’m always so excited to read a new romance by Tessa Bailey. Dream Girl Drama is the next book in the Big Shots series. It follows Sig, a professional hockey player who meets Chloe at a country club when his car breaks down. As they spend the night together, sparks fly and they have plans to see each other soon. When Sig arrives to meet his dad’s new girlfriend, Chloe is there too — his dream girl is about to be his future stepsister. This is so different from what I usually read but I’m looking forward to diving in!

The Love Lyric by Kristina Forest
The Love Lyric is the third book in The Greene Sisters series by USA Today bestselling author Kristina Forest. After reading my Lovelight Farms last year, I’m excited to pick up another book by B.K. Borison. First–Time Caller is the first book in the Heartstrings series and is inspired by Sleepless in Seattle. It follows Aiden, who has fallen out of love with love which is a problem as the host of a popular romance hotline. When a young girl calls asking for advice for her mom, the interview goes viral. Lucie realizes that a little more romance might not be so bad, especially when everyone is invested in her life. But as sparks fly between Lucie and Aiden, they both have some important choices to make in their lives.

While I’m not the biggest romantasy reader, A Touch of Shadows caught my eye. It’s pitched as a book for fans of Rebecca Yarros and Sarah J. Maas, which sounds perfect to me, especially after recently reading the Fourth Wing series. It follows Wren, who hides her shadow magic to avoid death. It also follows Finn, a knight who hunts those who use shadow magic. When dark creatures attack Finn, Wren uses her magic to save him. To save their kingdom, they must work together while navigating their growing feelings for each other.

Promise Me Sunshine by Cara Bastone
Promise Me Sunshine is an upcoming slow-burn romance by Cara Bastone, author of Ready or Not. It follows Lenny, who is grieving the loss of her best friend. Scot and Bothered is another book on this list that’s perfect if you want to travel. I’m particularly excited about this one because I’m visiting Scotland this year! After diving into the world of Elsie Silver’s books last year, there’s no way I would miss her next release! I don’t think I’m lying if I say she’s on my list of top favourite authors. Wild Side is the third book in the Rose Hill series and I’m so excited to read it (I’m eagerly waiting for my pre-order!). This new addition to the series follows Tabby and Rhys as they enter into a marriage of convenience. After glimpses of these two characters in the previous book, I’m excited to see where their love story takes us!

While I have not read any books by Lucy Score yet, I’ve been wanting to. I’m hoping Story of My Life will be my first before I dive into her backlist! She decides to buy a house in rural Pennsylvania to pen her next novel and while there, she finds inspiration from her handsome, grumpy contractor, Cam. While I admit I’m behind on this series, I’m still excited to pick up the next book. The Strawberry Patch Pancake House is the fourth book in the Dream Harbor series, which is perfect for fans of Gilmore Girls. It follows Archer, a single dad and renowned chef who moves back to Dream Harbor to run the pancake restaurant and raise his daughter, Olive. While there, he hires Iris as a nanny for Olive and as they spend more time together, they realize there might be something more. It also helps that Olive wants to play matchmaker.

Summer in the City is the adult debut from New York Times bestselling author Alex Aster. I haven’t read any of her previous books, but I’m intrigued by this story! It follows Elle, a screenwriter who has the opportunity to write a big-budget movie in New York City. But, she’s been dealing with writer’s block and her screenplay is due at the end of summer. When she heads back to the city to find inspiration, she doesn’t expect Parker, a former hookup, to be her new neighbour. It turns out her hate for Parker fuels her writing so they agree to fake date so he can create buzz around his company’s acquisition and she can finish her screenplay.

Any Trope But You by Victoria Lavine
Any Trope But You follows Margot, a bestselling romance author who doesn’t believe in happily ever afters. As soon as I saw this cover, I knew I needed to read this heartwarming romance debut. Crash Landing follows Piper, who firmly believes she’s over the former love of her life, Wyatt. Things only get worse when their plane crashes in the Caribbean and she’s stranded on a deserted island with the last person she wanted to see. I love that it’s a second-chance romance mixed with survival.

As soon as I heard this book is perfect for fans of Jessica Joyce, I knew I needed to pick it up. When she meets Cam, a handsome man who appears several times on her Friday, she realizes he might be the key to returning home but is fearful he won’t remember who she is. I love the Groundhog Day vibes with this one!

Courtroom Drama sounds like such an entertaining book and I’m so excited to pick it up. It’s pitched as Legally Blonde and Jury Duty meets The Real Housewives — and if you know me, I love all three which means this will be the perfect book for me. It follows Sydney, who’s looking forward to serving jury duty, especially when the case involves a cast member from a hit reality show. But, sequestered jury duty isn’t as fun as she thinks when she learns her childhood best friend Damon, who she hasn’t seen in years, is also a member.

Tarah DeWitt’s books have the most stunning covers and the most captivating stories inside them. I’m really looking forward to picking this one up, especially with the rivals-to-lovers trope!

Desperate, Scottie asks her best friend for help and it comes in the form of her best friend’s improv-obssessed brother, Wilder. It sounds so fun and I really can’t wait to read this one!

I read my first Courtney Walsh book last year and thoroughly enjoyed it, so I’m looking forward to reading Everything’s Coming Up Rosie. When a trip back home makes her think she’s behind in life, she accepts a job as the director of a regional theatre’s production of Cinderella. By doing this, she’ll make connections that can help further her dream. However, the regional theatre turns out to be a retirement community and the actors have no acting experience. While there, she meets Booker and must decide if she wants to continue chasing her dream or create new dreams with the people around her.
