I am a really big Cassandra Clare fan. In addition to the Harry Potter series, I really think her books got me into fantasy. Needless to say, I love the Shadowhunter world. Lady Midnight is a fantastic start to a brand new Shadowhunter trilogy. Once again, Cassandra Clare tugs at my heartstrings and breaks my heart all with the written word. She truly is remarkable writer.
Love Lucy by April Lindner
Young adult contemporary books with some romance sprinkled in, is definitely my favourite to read. They’re always so enjoyable to read, which makes them a great go-to book. Love, Lucy is a really charming and adorable contemporary romance that is perfect for summer. I picked it up on a whim recently because of my love for the cover!
Attachments by Rainbow Rowell
Before reading Attachments, I had never read a book written by Rainbow Rowell. But I figured it was time to pick one up! While at the cottage last summer, my friend was reading Attachments. She was constantly giggling and telling me that it is such a funny and enjoyable read.

Anna and the French Kiss by Stephanie Perkins
I really, really enjoyed this book. I don’t know why it took me so long to actually read it! Anna and the French Kiss has been on my to be read list for quite a while. Only after seeing some posts on bookstragram, did I finally decide it was time to see what I was missing. And I’m so glad I finally did.
Geekerella by Ashley Poston
I really love retellings and fairytales. I’m a huge Disney fan and love the world of fairytales because they allow you to escape into a world you only dream about. When Penguin reached out to me about Geekerella, I was immediately interested. It’s a little outside of my comfort zone with respect to plot, but I definitely wanted to give it a try.
