March is officially finished! With another month done, comes my March 2018 reading wrap-up! I’m really excited for the warmer weather here! I love to cozy up and read outside with some fresh air. Because of that, I’m reading for spring! March was a decent reading month for me. Not my best, but certainly not my worst. So here’s a look at my March 2018 reading wrap-up!
The Beauty that Remains by Ashley Woodfolk
The Beauty that Remains is one of those books I thought I would love, but didn’t. There are a few things in this book I enjoyed but also a few things I didn’t like. Because of this, I just think that this book isn’t one for me. The synopsis of this book is really intriguing. While I don’t typically read books about grief, I was curious about this one.
10 Young Adult Books Set in Another Country
Happy Tuesday! Today I’m sharing a list of 10 young adult books set in another country! Today’s post is my second time participating in Top Ten Tuesday! I’m so excited that this is becoming a new feature on my blog. It’s a fun time coming up with books to match the week’s topic.
Love, Life and the List by Kasie West
I’m a total broken record at this point, but fluffy contemporary romances are my favourite! Since this is my first Kasie West book, I was hoping to enjoy it. I enjoyed it so much, that I’ve found a new go-to contemporary author. Love, Life and the List follows Abby, who’s summer is not going the way she wanted. She creates a list of things to complete to help her anxiety and to get outside of her comfort zone!
A Prom to Remember by Sandy Hall
As soon as I heard about this book, I thought about the Disney movie Prom. I enjoyed the movie so I hoped I would enjoy this book too! Thankfully, I did! I certainly enjoyed all the characters in this book and their perspectives. Sometimes things can get a bit messy with a ton of characters, but I truly enjoyed them all. I think they’re all super relatable, which is perfect in young adult contemporary books.
