The first month of the new year is already done, and I for one, cannot believe it. Time is certainly flying. So today, I’m sharing my January 2021 reading wrap-up! I had a great reading month and it makes it a great start to my reading year. While 2020 was filled with a lot of re-reads, my January 2021 reading has all been new releases and backlist books.
Well Played by Jen DeLuca
After reading Well Met, I quickly fell in love with the writing, the character and the overall theme. I loved it so much that I read it twice. As soon as Well Played released, I immediately jumped into reading it. While I still love the writing, the renaissance theme and the characters, I didn’t love this one as much as Well Met.
Well Met by Jen DeLuca
If you’ve been following along for a while, you’ll know that I’ve really started to enjoy reading romance. Well Met is definitely one of my favourite romance books I’ve read so far. Well Met follows Emily, who moves to a new town to help her sister recover from a car accident. She decides to volunteer at the local Renaissance Faire with her niece and finds herself butting heads with the organizer, Simon.
The Project by Courtney Summers
After reading Sadie a couple of years ago, I quickly fell in love with Courtney Summers. The writing and the overall plot of Sadie made it a quick favourite for me. Once I heard about The Project, I immediately added it to my list of books to read in 2021.

So today I’m sharing a list of the 10 new to me authors that have become quick favourites. Between the writing, the characters and the overall plots of these books, I can’t wait to see more from these authors in the future.
