Just like that, another month is done. This means it’s time to share my November 2023 reading wrap-up!
I can’t believe we’re officially starting the last month of the year tomorrow. I’m already in full Christmas mode and I just got my tree last week. There’s something so special about the holidays and I’m hoping to get to some fun festive reads in December!
November was another crazy month for me. I made the official decision to take a step back from the blog and focus on my personal life. There are a lot of things in my life that require my attention right now — which means my blog and my reading, to some extent, have been neglected.
I’ve been busy planning some year end posts for December and am hoping to get a fresh start in the new year. My hope is to get ahead of myself with posts throughout the holidays so that I can keep up with posting in the new year.
In November, I read a total of five books — two 2023 releases and three backlist titles. Despite being busy, I think I managed to read a decent amount and am hoping I can keep that up in December.

November 2023 Reading Wrap-Up
Icebreaker by Hannah Grace. After hearing so much about this book, I finally decided to pick it up. Icebreaker is a fun and entertaining romance! I loved the mixture of hockey and ice skating, it’s something so different from what I normally read, but it was really refreshing. The characters were really enjoyable and it definitely makes me excited to pick up the next book. While I don’t think I loved it as much as everyone else, I still think it was a great read!
The Wedding Crasher by Mia Sosa. I’ve been wanting to read The Wedding Crasher for a while. I recently picked it up at a local independent bookstore and thankfully, it checked off one of my prompts for the Popsugar Reading Challenge! I really enjoyed this one — I enjoyed it even more than the first book, The Worst Best Man. It was fun from the minute I started reading, and I’m excited to read more from Mia Sosa in the future!
The Honeymoon Crashers by Christina Lauren. I’m trying to listen to more audiobooks and this was the perfect option to listen to this month! The Unhoneymooners is one of my favourite Christina Lauren books so I knew that I needed to pick up this companion at some point. I really enjoyed the story and the audio. It was a quick listen, and was perfect for my daily walks. If you’re looking for a short audiobook to get in before the end of the year, I would definitely recommend it.
Good Girl Complex by Elle Kennedy. I needed a book to complete for this month’s Buzzwordathon prompt, which was “good” and thankfully, I found a book on my TBR to help complete it. Unfortunately, I didn’t really like this book. The concept was good, and the writing was good. But, the characters didn’t pull me in and I really didn’t like how the two characters got together. I’m not sure if I’ll continue with the series or not.
Iron Flame by Rebecca Yarros. After picking up Fourth Wing, I immediately preordered Iron Flame. It’s no surprise that this was my favourite book this month. It was action packed and full of moments that kept me on the edge of my seat. The last part of the book was a wild ride and I just can’t wait to see what happens next. The characters and the world is so captivating! I’m so glad that these books have lived up to the hype for me!
