Today I’m excited to share my May 2018 reading wrap-up!
May was definitely not the best reading month. This month I graduated from Teacher’s College and visited Disneyland in California and took a cruise to Vancounver! I’m also currently on a two week vacation in Florida to visit Disney World and Universal Orlando!
While it’s been a busy month, I still managed to get some reading in! I’m excited to share the books I did get to in my May 2018 reading wrap-up!
A Court of Frost and Starlight by Sarah J Maas: While some people didn’t enjoy this novella, I really enjoyed it. I think it’s a really great opportunity to engage with some of my favourite characters again! I enjoyed seeing these characters in a natural environment instead of gearing up for war.
Furyborn by Claire Legrand: This book is a great start to a new fantasy series. It’s imaginative and full of strong female characters. I’m really curious to see how everything unfolds in the sequel. Hopefully there will be more answers than questions!
Legendary by Stephanie Garber: Since reading Caraval I’ve been dying to get my hands on Legendary! I’m really happy with this sequel, which is largely because of Tella’s perspective. I also just love the magic! I can’t wait for the final book.
Save the Date by Morgan Matson: I’ve only read one other Morgan Matson book but I can safely say I love her! I’m participating in a blog tour for this book next week, so I’ll save my thoughts for my post! Overall, it’s a really enjoyable book!
Royals by Rachel Hawkins: This book is such a cute read! I feel like it’s a total mix of The Princess Diaries and the movie What a Girl Wants. It does not disappoint and I’m looking forward to future books by this author!
For such a busy month, I think my May 2018 reading wrap-up is actually pretty good! Here’s hoping I have a better reading month in June!
