It’s hard to believe that April is here and it’s time to share my March 2023 reading wrap up.
March was a really difficult month for me. I expected to get back into a regular blogging routine but life had other plans.
My Grandmother’s health changed overnight earlier in March and all my time, focus and energy went to being by her side. She unfortunately passed on March 12th and it’s taken some time to deal with my emotions and get back into blogging.
She was the biggest supporter of my blog and I know she would be so happy to know that I’m trying to get back into a good routine. Thank you so much for your patience as I get back into the swing of things.
In March, I read a total of five books — one 2023 book release and four backlist titles. Considering the emotional rollercoaster March was, I’m really pleased with my reading.
Here’s hoping that April will be more successful — both for blogging and for my reading.

March 2023 Reading Wrap Up
Finlay Donovan is Killing It by Elle Cosimano. I’ve been wanting to pick up this book for a while and I’m so glad I finally did! It was such a fun and entertaining read. I really enjoyed the chaos and the miscommunication — it made for a really engaging mystery. It also checks off a book on my list of ten books to read this year!
Runaway Groomsman by Meghan Quinn. After reading my first Meghan Quinn book in December, I’ve quickly read more of her romantic comedies. I really enjoyed Runaway Groomsman. It’s a sweet romance with some endearing moments. I liked that the heartfelt connection between Fallon and her grandfather.
The Love Wager by Lynn Painter. Lynn Painter is one of my all time favourite authors and her newest release was another success for me! No one writes witty banter like Lynn does! The Love Wager is entertaining and left me desperately wanting her next romantic comedy immediately.
Finlay Donovan Knocks ‘Em Dead by Elle Cosimano. I really enjoyed the first book in the series, so I quickly picked up the sequel. I enjoyed this one a little less than the first one but still think it’s a great book. I’ve ordered the third book and am excited to see how things continue in this series! Plus, Elle Cosimano announced even more books in the series so that will be something to look forward to!
Two Can Keep a Secret by Karen M McManus. I’ve read most of Karen M McManus’ books and this is one of her early ones that I haven’t gotten to. While I enjoyed it, it’s not my favourite of her books. It’s still a solid mystery and I definitely will continue to pick up her books. They’re reliable and entertaining young adult mysteries! It’s also another book on my list of ten books to read in 2023 to check off!
