Another month is done and today I’m sharing my June 2019 reading wrap up!
I just had a wonderful long weekend for Canada Day. It was so nice to just unwind and relax! I’m really happy with the number of books I got to in June. I’m just hoping July is as good of a reading month for me!
The Vanishing Stair by Maureen Johnson: I read Truly Devious last month and it was a fun read. But this sequel is so much better! I absolutely love the flashbacks to the 30s. I’m really looking forward to seeing what happens in the final book next year!
War Storm by Victoria Aveyard: Ugh, this book is such a disappointment. I love Victoria Aveyard and her writing but this book just falls so flat. It took me forever to get through and was just a disappointing conclusion.
The Fill-In Boyfriend by Kasie West: I just love Kasie West! Her books are so cute and fluffy – I can always rely on her books to be a great rea. This one is super charming and sweet – a perfect read for the summer!
Grace and Fury by Tracy Banghart: I really, really enjoyed this book! It’s so well written and the characters are such strong and powerful women. It’s amazing to see the character development throughout this book.
Queen of Ruin by Tracy Banghart: I am so happy I was able to jump right into this book after finishing the first. It’s such a great end to the duology. I’ll certainly be on the lookout for more of Tracy Banghart’s books in the future.
On the Fence by Kasie West: This Kasie West gets a lot of low ratings from people on Goodreads but I loved it. I think it’s super cute and I loved the characters and their witty banter with each other!
Fix Her Up by Tessa Bailey: This book was so enjoyable! Is it cheesy and cliche? Absolutely. But I enjoyed it nontheless. Be prepared for a lot of steamy scenes though!
Maybe This Time by Kasie West: I saw this book out early at my local bookstore so I decided to pick it up! It’s not one of my favourite Kasie West books but it’s such a sweet story.
Overall, I’m really happy with my reading this month! Be sure to keep a look out on my review page because some of my reviews will be up soon!

That’s a pretty good month! I haven’t finished The Red Queen series yet because I’m afraid it’ll be a let down, and by this point I’ve forgotten what I’ve read. I just remember being mad at Cal…if that’s even his name. Lol.
It really was! Yeah I don’t blame you, it was certainly disappointing for me in the end. It should’ve been an epic ending and it was just overall, blah 😔
