It may be a little late (okay, really late) but it’s time to share my July 2021 reading wrap up!
The last couple of months I have taken some time away from my blog, but I’m excited to be back! There are so many fun, upcoming posts and I’m excited to share more of my reading with you.
If you want to keep up with my reading, be sure to find me over at Goodreads. I’m always updating my reading progress throughout the year.
I had a pretty great reading month in July — I read a lot of romance books, which are the perfect summer reads. I read four 2021 releases, two 2020 releases and one backlist book!
And tomorrow you’ll get to take a look at what my August reading was like.

July 2021 Reading Wrap Up
You Had Me at Hola by Alexis Daria: I’ve been wanting to read You Had Me at Hola for a while, and I’m really glad I did. It was a fun, steamy romance and I’m excited for what’s next in A Lot Like Adios!
Isn’t it Bromantic? by Lyssa Kay Adams: Another Bromance Book Club book and it didn’t let me down! I’m so glad we finally got to read the Russian’s story — it really helps to bring depth to his character. It’s such a sweet and charming book that I definitely recommend checking out!
Party of Two by Jasmine Guillory: I’ve been trying to catch up on Jasmine’s books and finally read Party of Two. It’s another great book by Jasmine — her writing and her characters never let me down.
The Lightning Thief by Rick Riordan: Can you believe I’ve never read The Lightning Thief? While it’s taken me a really long time to pick it up, it didn’t disappoint — even though I’m an adult. I’m so excited to continue the series and see what happens when it hits our TV screens on Disney+!
It Happened One Summer by Tessa Bailey: Tessa Bailey never fails to deliver steamy romance books! But It Happened One Summer is on another level, and dare I say, my new favourite book by her? This one is so fun and has amazing Schitt’s Creek vibes! I can’t wait for Hook, Line and Sinker next year!
While We Were Dating by Jasmine Guillory: I’m officially all caught up on Jasmine’s books. While this one isn’t my favourite of her books, it’s still a fun book and perfect for the summer.
The Last Legacy by Adrienne Young: Adrienne Young quickly stole my heart after reading Fable and Namesake. I am so lucky I got to pick up this newest book early and it is SO good! I just love the worlds she creates, the depth to her characters and the overall story. Now that it’s out in the world, I’m excited for my signed copy to arrive in the mail!
