Percy Jackson and the Olympians is a middle grade fantasy series. The series follows twelve year old Percy Jackson, a demigod who tries to stop the Titans from destroying the world.
Along with his friends Annabeth and Grover, Percy deals with mythological enemies, prophecies and challenging quests to complete. The series is full of action and adventure that will keep you entertained the whole way through.

When does the new Percy Jackson book release?
At the end of 2022, Rick Riordan announced a new book in the Percy Jackson and the Olympians book series. Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Chalice of the Gods is set to release on September 26th, 2023.
Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Chalice of the Gods will follow Percy Jackson and his friends, Annabeth and Grover, as they complete three new quests to get letters of recommendation from Mount Olympus for college.

What is the Kane Chronicles about?

Throughout the trilogy, the siblings must complete quests and deal with Egyptian gods and goddesses. Unlike his previous books, The Kane Chronicles features Egyptian mythology.

Are there any Percy Jackson movie adaptations?
There are two movies in the Percy Jackson film series. The first movie, Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief is based on the first book in the series, The Lightning Thief. The film stars Logan Lerman as Percy Jackson, Alexandra Daddario as Annabeth Chase as well as Brandon T Jackson as Grover. It was released on February 12th, 2010.
The second movie, Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Sea of Monsters is based on the second book in the series, The Sea of Monsters. Logan Lerman, Alexandra Daddario and Brandon T Jackson all returned for the film. It was released on August 7th, 2013.

Will there be a Percy Jackson show on Disney Plus?
While the Percy Jackson film series was not a success, Rick Riordan is working with Disney Plus to create the best adaptation. In May of 2020, a television series for Percy Jackson and the Olympians was announced, with Rick Riordan as an executive producer.
The television series will star Walker Scobell as Percy Jackson, Leah Sava Jeffries as Annabeth Chase as well as Aryan Simhadri as Grover. The series will also feature Jason Montzoukas and Lin Manuel Miranda among others.
Filming for the series began in June of 2022 in Vancouver, British Columbia. Filming concluded in February of 2023.
When will the Percy Jackson series release on Disney Plus?
The first season of Percy Jackson and the Olympians on Disney Plus is set to release on December 20th, 2023. There will be two episodes available on December 20th, followed by an episode release each week. The first season will also consist of eight episodes.
While there is still quite a bit of time before we get to watch the adaptation, thankfully we have Rick Riordan’s books to keep us company!

There are so many books by rick riordan, i dont know what to read next. I’ve already read the percy jackson books up too the battle of the labyrinth, but i dont know what to read next. do i read the heroes of olympus or the trials of appollo first. And also there are many other books connected to the percy jackson series what do you recomend to read next, and make sure it’s in order. And is there also a 6th and 7th book to the percy jackson books.
