The second month of the year is officially finished, which means it’s time for my February 2022 reading wrap up!
February was just as busy as January. But thankfully, I started to settle into a routine with my new teaching position. Once I had more of a routine, my reading picked up — thankfully!
While January was an okay reading month, I did a little better in February. And by better, I mean I read one more book. But, I had more energy to read and more of a desire to read so it’s a win!
I managed to read four books this month — two 2022 releases, and two backlist books.

February 2022 Reading Wrap Up
Mr. Wrong Number by Lynn Painter: After reading Better Than the Movies, I fell in love with Lynn Painter’s writing and humour. I’ve been so excited to read her adult debut and let me tell you, it does not disappoint! This was such a wonderful read — full of hilarious moments and lovable characters. I can definitely see myself re-reading this in the future!
The Roughest Draft by Emily Wibberley and Austin-Siegemund-Broka: I’ve been a fan of Emily and Austin since reading their first book, and they’ve been such wonderful supporters of my blog, too. Their adult debut is wonderful and I love that it brings a writing relationship to the forefront. While I do wish there was more of a focus on the romance, it’s still a lovely adult debut and I can’t wait to read their next one!
Kingdom of the Wicked by Kerri Maniscalco: I read an early copy of Kingdom of the Wicked the year it released and it was so great. I knew when it was time to read Kingdom of the Cursed that I would do a re-read and I enjoyed it even more the second time around. Emilia is such a great heroine and Wrath is just the perfect person to rile her up.
Kingdom of the Cursed by Kerri Maniscalco: I absolutely loved this sequel! I was curious if my love for this series could grow after the first book and I feel like Kerri Maniscalco took it to another level. She also made this one more of a new adult book, which I absolutely loved. I can’t wait to read the final book later this year!
