Happy Tuesday, everyone! Today, I’m sharing a list of 10 great YA books with colours in the title!
I’ve been up at my cottage for the past weekend and I’m staying up for the week as well. I’m soaking in the sunshine and all the reading time. Hopefully this list of 10 books with colours in the title will inspire some new reads for you too!
Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl, where she assigns a new topic each week and we post a top ten list to go along with the theme!
10 Things I Hate About Pinky by Sandhya Menon: I haven’t actually read this one yet but my preorder came in the mail on release day! I’m really excited to pick this one up — I love Sandhya Menon!
13 Little Blue Envelopes by Maureen Johnson: I really enjoy Maureen Johnson’s mysteries and this one is no different. It’s just a light hearted, sweet contemporary!
Anne of Green Gables by Lucy Maud Montgomery: This list is not complete without including this classic! I absolutely love Anne of Green Gables! It’s definitely my favourite classic!
Blood Red Road by Moira Young: This is a really interesting dystopian book! It has great characters and is full of adventure and survival
Blue Lily, Lily Blue by Maggie Stiefvater: Another book I haven’t actually read yet. After hearing BooksandLala rave about it so much, I added it to my TBR. I need to get around to reading the series at some point!
Chain of Gold by Cassandra Clare: Ugh, I just love Cassandra Clare so much. I obviously had to include her newest release, which I definitely loved!
Ramona Blue by Julie Murphy: Who doesn’t love Julie Murphy?! Ramona Blue is a really heartfelt, emotional contemporary about growing, learning about yourself and exploring.
Red Queen by Victoria Aveyard: Red Queen is definitely my favourite in the entire series. It’s a fun fantasy with interesting characters and great writing!
The Red Pyramid by Rick Riordan: I always love the premise of Rick Riordan books because they explore mythology and culture. While this is technically middle grade, I know a lot of young adults love Riordan as well!
The Red Scrolls of Magic by Cassandra Clare: Since I love Cassandra Clare, I obviously had to include another one of her books! Technically, this book is considered adult fantasy but since so many young adults love her as well, I had to include it!
Overall, there are a ton of great books with colours in the title! And I’m sure there are a lot that I’ve missed.
Share with me in the comments which books with colours in the title that you love and recommend! Also, share a link to your top ten tuesday post so I can visit your posts!

I like how you have the option to pin your recommendations. So smart!
Anne of Green Gables and Red Queen seem to be a common thread amongst the TTTs. I’ve read both and loved Anne but could not get into Red Queen.

Thank you! It’s something new I’m doing, but I’m glad you like it!
Yes, I’ve seen them quite a bit! The first Red Queen book is great but the series went a bit downhill for me unfortunately. I can totally understand why you couldn’t get into it though!

Other than ANNE OF GREEN GABLES, I haven’t read any of these. I do love Anne, though! I love that she’s on so many TTT lists today 🙂
Happy TTT!
