Happy Tuesday! Today I’m sharing a list of 10 young adult books set in another country!
Today’s post is my second time participating in Top Ten Tuesday! I’m so excited that this is becoming a new feature on my blog. It’s a fun time coming up with books to match the week’s topic.
Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by The Artsy Reader Girl, where she assigns a new topic each week and we post a top ten list to go along with the theme!
The books either take place entirely in a different country, or have parts in another country.
9 Days and 9 Nights by Katie Cotugno: This contemporary romance book takes place during a European adventure. It starts off in London, England!
Anna and the French Kiss by Stephanie Perkins: This book follows Anna as she studies abroad in Paris, France!
Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone by J.K. Rowling: Obviously Harry Potter was going to make this list! The entirety of the series is set in England.
I See London, I See France by Sarah Mlynowski: This is a fun contemporary book that follows the characters around Europe!
Love & Gelato by Jenna Evans Welch: This book follows Lina as she visits Italy to meet her Dad and learn more about her life.
Love, Lucy by April Lindner: Similar to Love & Gelato, this book takes place in Italy.
The Book Thief by Markus Zusak: Since this is a wartime story, The Book Thief takes place in Germany.
The Conspiracy of Us by Maggie Hall: This action-packed adventure series takes the reader all over Europe!
The Fault in Our Stars by John Green: The characters in this book visit Amsterdam in the middle of the book.
The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants by Ann Brashares: While all the friends are doing something during the summer, part of this book takes place in Greece!
I hope you enjoyed this list of ten young adult books set in another country! Do you have any favourites from this list? Let me know in the comments!
