August is officially finished, which means it’s time to share my August 2021 reading wrap up!
August has been a really crazy month for me. As you can probably tell, I haven’t been posting a lot on my blog or on my other social media accounts. This also means that my reading has been a bit crazy this month too!
I spent three weeks at my cottage this month and it was just so nice. I took a lot of time to just relax and enjoy my time away from social media. It was a good break and now I’m ready to get back into the swing of things!
My reading month was not the best. I managed to read four books this month — one 2021 release and three backlist books. With things getting back to normal, I’m hoping to have a better reading month in September!

August 2021 Reading Wrap Up
A Court of Silver Flames by Sarah J Maas: I have been waiting since February to finally read the newest Sarah J Maas book. With three weeks at the cottage, it really was the perfect time to read it because I didn’t have to rush. I really enjoyed the start to this new adventure inside the ACOTAR world. But I’m really excited to see what comes next!
Serious Moonlight by Jenn Bennett: I have read almost all of Jenn Bennett’s books so I thought it was the perfect time to finally read Serious Moonlight! While this isn’t my favourite of her books, it’s still a really sweet contemporary romance. I just love Jenn Bennett’s signature wit and writing style.
My Favorite Half-Night Stand by Christina Lauren: I read this one for this month’s buzzwordathon prompt, which was time of day. I really have enjoyed every one of Christina Lauren’s books that I’ve read and this one is no different! It’s super cute and the characters are all adorable.
The Hating Game by Sally Thorne: I FINALLY read The Hating Game and I’m so glad I did! While I’ve had difficulty with Sally Thorne’s other books, I really enjoyed this one. It just has a totally different vibe from her other books and I’m so excited to see it become a movie!
