Happy Wednesday, everyone!! This is my first WWW Wednesday post of 2019 and I’m super excited about it. So far my reading is off to a great start this year and I’m quite happy about it.

But I’m also being realistic that it might slow down because my master’s program started back up again this week and so did teaching! It’s busy, but I’m trying to work in more digital books so I can read as much as I can.

For those unfamiliar, WWW Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Sam, who blogs over at Taking on a World of Words. The purpose is to answer three questions: what you’re reading, what you recently read, and what you’re going to read next – that’s it!

Currently Reading

Only a Breath Apart by Katie McGarry - The Contented Reader
The Light Over London by Julia Kelly - The Contented Reader

Only a Breath Apart by Katie McGarry // I snagged a digital ARC of this on NetGalley and I’m only a chapter or so in. I’m hoping I enjoy it as much as I enjoyed Walk the Edge by her!

The Light Over London by Julia Kelly // I’m LOVING this book so far. It’s such an enjoyable read and great writing. It was released yesterday and I’m so excited to post my review!

Recently Read

The Wicked King by Holly Black - The Contented Reader

Forget You by Jennifer Echols // A cute contemporary romance! Fluffy and cheesy (a little cliche too!) but still enjoyable. My review will be posted later this week!

The Wicked King by Holly Black // I really enjoyed The Wicked King and definitely thought it was better than The Cruel Prince. I’m very curious to see how everything turns out in the third book.

Up Next

Courting Darkness by Robin LaFevers - The Contented Reader
The Field Guide to the North American Teenager by Ben Philippe - The Contented Reader

Courting Darkness by Robin LaFevers // I’ve joined the Courting Darkness blog tour hosted by Raincoast Books at the end of the month so I’m excited to give this book a read! I hope it will be a great fantasy!

The Field Guide to the North American Teenager by Ben Philippe // Since Courting Darkness is a fantasy I feel like I may also be in the mood for a contemporary at the same time. Sometimes it’s nice to take a break from fantasy worlds for something more realistic.

That’s it for this week! I hope everyone has a fantastic reading week with really enjoyable reads!

Happy reading!
