Happy Top Ten Tuesday, everyone! It’s been a while since I’ve done one of these posts but I’m excited to get back into it. Between finishing up my semester at school and the holidays, it’s been a busy time. But I really love these top ten posts, and hope I can continue them for the near future!

For those of you who are not familiar, Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl where she assigns a new topic each week and posts a top ten list to follow that theme.

Today’s theme isย most anticipated releases for the first half of 2019! There are SO many books releasing this year that I can’t wait to read (if you’d like to check them out, you can read my post on the 40 Books I Can’t Wait to Read!)

But, I narrowed it down to 10 books that I’m particularly excited for and here they are!

The Field Guide to the North American Teenager by Ben Philippe - The Contented Reader
Fame, Fate and the First Kiss by Kasie West - The Contented Reader

The Field Guide to the North American Teenager by Ben Philippe // January 22nd, 2019 // I’m really excited for this book. The synopsis is great and I really like that the main character is French Canadian.

Fame, Fate and the First Kiss by Kasie West // February 5th, 2019 // Many of you know that I read my first Kasie West book in 2018 and I really enjoyed it. I’m so excited to read more of her books and this one looks great.

Enchantee by Gita Trelease - The Contented Reader
Four Dead Queens by Astrid Scholte - The Contented Reader

Enchantee by Gita Trelease // February 5th, 2019 // This book has been on my radar since the minute I first heard about it. The synopsis sounds great, the cover is beautiful and I just can’t wait to read it.

Four Dead Queens // February 26th, 2019 // I love the cover of this book and it just has such an intriguing premise. Also, one of the characters is called Toria – which is the nickname my mom calls me, since it’s the last half of my name! I think that’s kind of cool, ha!

Field Notes on Love by Jennifer E. Smith - The Contented Reader
The Red Scrolls of Magic by Cassandra Clare - The Contented Reader

Field Notes on Love by Jennifer E. Smith // March 5th, 2019 // I’ve been in such a contemporary mood lately and this book just seems super cute. I love the cover and I enjoyed a previous book I read by Jennifer E. Smith!

The Red Scrolls of Magic by Cassandra Clare // April 2nd, 2019 //ย Magnus Bane? Check. Alec Lightwood? Check. Shadowhunters? Check. Cassandra Clare? Check. It’s a must read.

Meet Cute by Helena Hunting - The Contented Reader
Finale by Stephanie Garber - The Contented Reader

Meet Cute by Helena Hunting // April 9th, 2019 // This book just looks so adorable. The synopsis totally draws me in and I LOVE the cover! Plus, the author is Canadian!

Finale by Stephanie Garber // May 7th, 2019 // I am really looking forward to the conclusion of this fun series!

The Bride Test by Helen Hoang - The Contented Reader
Rest of the Story by Sarah Dessen - The Contented Reader

The Bride Test by Helen Hoang // May 7th, 2019 // I LOVED the Kiss Quotient so I’m super excited for this next book. I hope it’ll be just as good as her first book.

The Rest of the Story // June 4th, 2019 // Sarah Dessen is definitely an auto-buy author for me and I am so looking forward to reading her next book. I’ve even gotten my mom into reading her books!

Well, these are 10 books I’m really looking forward to reading in the first half of 2019! I also am going to give an honourable mention toย The Wicked King!ย But, I received a digital ARC of it and have already read it, so I figured I wouldn’t add it to this list. It’s a good one!

Happy reading, everyone!! ๐Ÿ’–
