December is such a great time of year. I love the holiday spirit, the warm and cozy nights reading books. And the time I get to spend with my family and friends.

I also totally got spoiled by my family and friends this holiday season. They sure do know I love my books! Since I got quite a few, I figured I would do a December book haul to show you the books I got. You can expect some reviews for these books eventually!

The 7 Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle by Stuart Turton - The Contented Reader

The 7 Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle by Stuart Turton // I’ve heard so much about this book and I’m glad I finally got a copy. I hope it lives up to my expectations!

Dating You, Hating You by Christina Lauren // I have yet to read a Christina Lauren book, which is crazy! I’m curious about their books, because everyone talks about them.

The Towering Sky by Katharine McGee - The Contented Reader

Heartless by Marissa Meyer // I’ve yet to read any of Meyer’s book as well. But this one really intrigues me! I think I’ll enjoy it – at least I hope I will.

The Towering Sky by Katharine McGee // I still haven’t read the second book in this series, but I’m looking forward to finishing it off. While it’s not my favourite series ever, I’m curious enough to finish it!

P.S. I Still Love You by Jenny Han // I really enjoyed the first book (still need to post my review for it though, oops!) and can’t wait to dive into the sequel. Especially since they announced the movie for it!

Always and Forever, Lara Jean by Jenny Han // And, since I have the third book, I can quickly finish this series off!

The One that I Want by Jennifer Echols // I haven’t heard much about this book, but since I’m really into contemporary recently, I think I’ll enjoy it!

Forget You by Jennifer Echols // I read this book a long time ago on my Kobo while travelling. I definitely enjoyed it, but it’s been a while. I’m looking forward to seeing if I enjoy it as much the second time around.

The Geography of You and Me by Jennifer E. Smith // I read my first Jennifer E. Smith book in November, and flew through it. I enjoyed it for a light, fluffy and easy read. So here’s hoping I enjoy her other ones!

The Statistical Probability of Love at First Sight by Jennifer E. Smith // Again, this will be a perfect read when I am in the mood for light and fluffy!

This is What Happy Looks Like by Jennifer E. Smith // In keeping with the Jennifer E. Smith trend … my mom decided to add more to the mix, haha!

You Are Here by Jennifer E. Smith // And, the last Jennifer E. Smith book for this haul. Here’s hoping I like them all.

Open Road Summer by Emery Lord // This contemporary just looks like a super cute read. I hope it’ll be as fun as the synopsis makes it out to be!

Listen to Your Heart by Kasie West // I read my first Kasie West book this year and absolutely fell in love with her writing. She reminds me so much of Sarah Dessen! I definitely plan on catching up with her previous books.

Alex, Approximately by Jenn Bennett // I’ve heard some good things about this author, so I’m excited to give her a try. Once again, it falls into my contemporary mood!

The Heir and the Spare by Emily Albright // I’ve had this book on my radar for a while, so I’m glad I finally have a copy. Let’s see if it lives up to my expectations!

Well – that’s my December (but mostly Christmas) book haul! Most of these books apparently came from Book Outlet, so definitely check their site out if you’re interested in any of these books!

I’m so excited for this new reading year and to jump into all of these reads. Keep an eye out for some reviews to come!

Let’s Chat in the Comments!

Did you get any books for Christmas? Or did you buy new books for December? Have you read any of the books on my list – if so, what did you think?
