The Ends of the World by Maggie Hall - The Contented ReaderThe Circle is hers. But Avery West has lost everything else: her mother, the family she’d just found, and the one boy she trusted. In their place are unfathomable power, a staged relationship that makes her question every real feeling she’s ever had, and a mission to find the cure to the virus that’s made her own blood a weapon.

Then disaster strikes, turning Avery, Stellan, Jack, and Elodie into the most wanted people in the world. To clear their names and the growing rift between the families of the Circle before the world dissolves into World War Three, they’ll have to make a desperate, dangerous final race for Alexander the Great’s tomb. What they will find inside will mean the world’s salvation—or destruction.

Avery will have to decide how much she’s willing to sacrifice—for the world, for family, and for love—in this conclusion to the Conspiracy of Us series.

This series is such a great mysterious adventure and I thoroughly enjoyed every moment of it!

The Ends of the World is the conclusion to an epic worldwide adventure. It picks right up after the events of Map of Fates and follows the desperate search for the tomb of Alexander the Great. Also, Avery must deal with decisions that were forced upon her in the previous book.

Once again, Maggie Hall is able to weave history and adventure within the plot of her story. And she does it so well. Since this is the last book, there are a lot of loose ends that get wrapped up. I’m happy with how the story ends and love the adventure it took me on.

I really love the character development throughout this series. In the first book, there are some moments where I wanted more from Avery. Avery changes and develops so much throughout this series and I loved watching the progression. Her relationship with the other Circle members as well as Jack and Stellan is really enjoyable. Overall, they’re great characters that add to the fantastic plot.

I love how this series is short and sweet, yet is action packed. It’s fast paced and doesn’t skip a beat. It leaves you curious for findings and developments. And there’s lots of twists and turns along the way.

I definitely recommend this series as a whole. It’s a fun adventure and will leave you with some severe wanderlust. If you’re looking for mystery, great plot and awesome characters, check this series out! I can see myself re-reading this series sometime in the future.

I know you're afraid of falling, but sometimes you've got to let go.
