Happy WWW Wednesday, everyone! This week has been an interesting reading week for me. Since I only have a few weeks left for this semester in school, so many things are due. So the majority of my spare time is spent working on assignments, which let me tell you, is not the most fun!
I’ve been trying to read in the morning and at night before I go to bed, and any other time I can get the time. But, it’s been somewhat slow this week. I’ll be so excited when it’s December and school is over for the semester, and I can just read all I want!
For those unfamiliar, WWW Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Sam, who blogs over at Taking on a World of Words. The purpose is to answer three questions: what you’re reading, what you recently read, and what you’re going to read next – that’s it!
Queen of Shadows by Sarah J. Maas // I’m currently only reading Queen of Shadows. Since this is a heavier fantasy, I’m trying not to confuse myself by reading another book. So far I’m enjoying it more than Heir of Fire and hopefully it continues to go that way!
An Assassin’s Guide to Love and Treason by Virginia Boecker // Overall, this book was enjoyable. It is certainly humourous and an interesting story. But I didn’t love it as much as I thought I was going to. In the end though, I did enjoy it.
Hello, Goodbye and Everything in Between by Jennifer E. Smith // I’ve talked a bit about wanting to do more mood reading this month and this is one of those! I was in the mood for a contemporary and this is such a quick and easy one. It’s certainly not the best contemporary I’ve read, but I enjoyed it nonetheless.
Well! Those are my reads for the past week. I’m hoping to get more time to read once I’m caught up on assignments and homework. At least reading is a great incentive for me! Let’s hope I can catch up a bit through this next week.
Happy reading, everyone! As always, please feel free to leave a link to your WWW Wednesday down below – I’d love to check it out!
