We are officially at the end of September, and I can’t believe it. I feel like I always say I can’t believe how fast the year is flying but seriously, it’s crazy! But, with October starting tomorrow, it honestly is my favourite time of the year. The cooler weather is starting and the fall colours are already starting to show. I’m looking forward to the cozy reading and movie nights this month!
But with the end of a month, comes my September 2018 monthly wrap-up! While this wasn’t the greatest reading month, I’m happy with my progress. With starting school this month reading took a backseat. I think I did quite well either way though!
Warcross by Marie Lu // ★★★★☆ // This was a re-read for me this month. I wanted to refresh the story in anticipation for Wildcard and finally post my review. This is such a great start to the duology and was even more enjoyable the second time around. You can check out my review here!
Wildcard by Marie Lu // ★★★★★ // What an epic end to the duology. It was filled with suspense and mystery and more descriptive virtual worlds. This one is even better than the first! You can check out my review here!
Catwoman: Soulstealer by Sarah J. Maas // ★★★★☆ // I was really looking forward to reading this book. When I heard that Sarah J. Maas was going to write Catwoman, I figured it was going to be a great pairing. Overall, I enjoyed the story and the characters! Stay tuned for my full review, coming soon!
Edison Beaker Creature Seeker: The Night Door by Frank Cammuso // ★★★★☆ // This is the first Middle Grade graphic novel I’ve read in a long time. It was super cute and funny! It’s also the first book for my new feature, Middle Grade Monday, which starts tomorrow! Be sure to come and check it out!

While this obviously was not my best reading month, I’m happy with what I did accomplish. With the fall weather in full swing and cozy nights, I’m looking forward to spending more of my free time reading. We’ll see if October is a better reading month for me!
