It’s time for another WWW Wednesday! I’ve been in a weird reading mood lately. This is largely because I started my Master’s program at the beginning of the month.  My program is all online, so it’s taken some time to figure out a schedule for myself.

But, now that it’s in full swing and I seem to have figured it all out, I’m back on track! I’m so excited to get back to posting these weekly wrap-ups!

For those unfamiliar, WWW Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Sam, who blogs over at Taking on a World of Words. The purpose is to answer three questions: what you’re reading, what you recently read, and what you’re going to read next – that’s it!

Currently Reading

A Reaper at the Gates by Sabaa Tahir - The Contented Reader
Grim Lovelies by Megan Shepherd - The Contented Reader

A Reaper at the Gates by Sabaa Tahir // I placed a hold on this book at my local library and it finally came through! Since it’s a library book, it takes a bit of precedence since I only have a short amount of time with it. I just absolutely adore this series and am so excited to see where this book goes.

Grim Lovelies by Megan Shepherd // I am part of a blog tour for this book at the beginning of October and I’m really looking forward to reading this book. The setting of it is super cool and I love the uniqueness of the character names!

Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children by Ransom Riggs - The Contented Reader

Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children by Ransom Riggs // I’m currently listening to the audiobook of this book in my car! It’s a great listen for the long drives up to the cottage, so hopefully I’ll be done soon. So far it’s enjoyable but not as great as I thought it would be.

Recently Read

Warcross by Marie Lu Book Cover - The Contented Reader
Wildcard by Marie Lu Book Cover - The Contented Reader

Warcross by Marie Lu // I read this book last year when I was given an ARC. But with all my recent blog changes, I realized I never actually posted a review. So, in anticipation for the release of Wildcard, I re-read the book and LOVED it even more the second time around! If you want to know my thoughts, check out my review!

Wildcard by Marie Lu // Wildcard was an epic sequel and I loved it. I actually enjoyed it more than the first one. It was a solid conclusion to this duology and I would highly recommend it! If you want to know my thoughts, check out my review!

Catwoman: Soulstealer by Sarah J. Maas - The Contented Reader

Catwoman: Soulstealer by Sarah J. Maas // Overall I enjoyed this book. It was a fun read and a good storyline. I don’t want to say too much though so you’ll have to wait for my review for all my thoughts, ha!

Up Next

Broken Things by Lauren Oliver - The Contented Reader
When We Caught Fire by Anna Godbersen - The Contented Reader

Broken Things by Lauren Oliver // I have a ton of ARCs to read for October and it’s a bit overwhelming. But, I’ve decided to pick ones I’m curious about at the moment and then keep going from there. Broken Things seems like such a unique read and I’m excited – it gives me Pretty Little Liars vibes!

When We Caught Fire by Anna Godbersen // I really enjoyed The Luxe series by Anna Godbersen when I was in high school. I’m super excited to read this book and learn more about the Great Chicago Fire! It looks like a great book!

That’s it for my WWW Wednesday! I’m hoping to get back into more of a ‘schedule’ with reading since I’ve been slacking a bit! But, since there are a lot of ARCs to get to for October, I better get a head-start, ha!
