I love these mid-week wrap ups! Not only are they fun to write and compile, but it is also a great way for me to give you guys an update on what’s going on in my reading life throughout the week!
This week I’ve finished a couple of books so I feel like it’s been really successful! I stayed with my Grandmother for a few days while my Grandfather was on a trip and it was great time to spend with her and get some reading time in!
For those unfamiliar, WWW Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Sam, who blogs over at Taking on a World of Words. The purpose is to answer three questions – and that’s it! Here are the three questions:
- What are you currently reading?
- What did you recently finish reading?
- What do you think you’ll read next?
Yes, I am still reading Sea Witch. I had this book on last week’s WWW Wednesday and I still haven’t finished it. I kind of got swept up into the world of Morgan Matson last week when I re-read her first three novels, and so this one kind of took a step back. I’m hoping to really get into it shortly.
I also started An Ember in the Ashes and oh my goodness, am I ever loving it. It’s a fantastic story so far and the characters are really ones that I gravitate towards! I can’t wait to continue reading it!
I wasn’t lying when I said I was living in the world of Morgan Matson. I also was just totally in a contemporary mood, which obviously shows since I successfully read three contemporaries this past week.
Look up for my reviews of these books, which are all written and scheduled to come out over the next couple of weeks!
This is a tough one because I’m not going to commit that this will be next on my list. I’ve been in such a weird reading mood lately that it’s hard for me to really choose what I’ll want to read next.
Since I’ve been really loving contemporary lately, From Twinkle, with Love is definitely a major contender of my next read. But we’ll see. An Ember in the Ashes may lead me into wanting more fantasy!
That’s it for this week’s reading wrap-up!! Have you read any of these books? What were your thoughts, I’d love to hear!
