WWW Wednesday

WWW Wednesday #4

Happy Wednesday, everyone! It’s officially the middle of the week. I can’t believe how fast June is flying. However, I’m happy to report that it’s been a great reading month for me (so far!).

For those unfamiliar, WWW Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Sam, who blogs over at Taking on the World. The purpose is to answer three questions – and that’s it! Here are the three questions:

  • What are you currently reading?
  • What did you recently finish reading?
  • What do you think you’ll read next?

Currently Reading

Since I met Morgan Matson this past Friday (June 15th), I’ve been on a reading marathon of her books. It’s been a while since I’ve read her earlier books, and since I read them before I started book blogging, I want to put up some reviews. I also really seem to be in a contemporary reading mood lately! I’m really enjoying my re-read of Second Chance Summer – it is the perfect summery read!

I received an ARC of Sea Witch and I’m really interested in seeing how this story plays out. I’m only about 30 pages in, but so far so good! I can’t wait for some more ocean and mermaid tales!

Recently Read

I recently finished reading Blood Will Out by Jo Treggiari. I’m apart of the blog tour for this book, which started on Monday with my great book blogging friend Flavia. You can check out her post here! I’m not going to say too much about this book because I’m waiting for my tour stop!

I FINALLY finished Scythe. This one took me longer to read then I originally expected. It started off really good and then slowed down towards the middle. But I will say, that the ending picked back up for me and I am really looking forward to seeing what happens in Thunderhead!

And, along with my Morgan Matson reading marathon, I kicked it off with her debut novel. My re-read was everything I wanted it to be and more! Look out for my review soon!

Up Next

At this point, because I’m in such a contemporary reading mood, the only book I plan on reading at the moment is Since You’ve Been Gone by Morgan Matson. Clearly, you guys can tell I’m serious about the marathon!

As for the other books I plan on reading, I’m not quite sure. I think maybe The Kiss Quotient may be up next!

What contemporary reads do you guys recommend? I am LOVING them right now!!

Happy Wednesday and happy reading!!
