Happy Monday, everyone! And a very special Happy Memorial Day to my followers in the US! I’m currently in Orlando, Florida and I’m celebrating Memorial Day along with you guys at the Magic Kingdom today!
Today’s ARCstravaganza is all about the sequel to one of my favourite reads of 2017!!
For those unfamiliar, ARCstravaganza was a weekly meme created by Krysti at YA and Wine and hosted by her and Sarah at The Clever Reader. They had to let the meme go because of personal reasons but Flavia at Flavia the Bibliophile decided to continue hosting it! The meme allows book bloggers to highlight and discuss ARCs that they received!
Legendary by Stephanie Garber
Publisher: Flatiron Books | Release: May 29th, 2018
Woot woot! Legendary had to be featured today, especially since it officially releases into the world tomorrow!! I was lucky enough to receive an ARC of this, which to be quite honest, I’m still in shock about. I LOVED Caraval when it came out in 2017 and spoiler alert: I LOVED Legendary as well! My review of Legendary will be up today!
A heart to protect. A debt to repay. A game to win.
After being swept up in the magical world of Caraval, Donatella Dragna has finally escaped her father and saved her sister Scarlett from a disastrous arranged marriage. The girls should be celebrating, but Tella isn’t yet free. She made a desperate bargain with a mysterious criminal, and what Tella owes him no one has ever been able to deliver: Caraval Master Legend’s true name.
The only chance of uncovering Legend’s identity is to win Caraval, so Tella throws herself into the legendary competition once more—and into the path of the murderous heir to the throne, a doomed love story, and a web of secrets…including her sister’s. Caraval has always demanded bravery, cunning, and sacrifice. But now the game is asking for more. If Tella can’t fulfill her bargain and deliver Legend’s name, she’ll lose everything she cares about—maybe even her life. But if she wins, Legend and Caraval will be destroyed forever.
Welcome, welcome to Caraval…the games have only just begun.
