Happy Wednesday! We’re already half way through another week! Today is such a rainy and crazy day where I live, but that means its a perfect day to catch up on writing blog posts and reading!
Today is my most favourite Waiting on Wednesday post to write, to date! I think a bunch of you can already guess which book I’m featuring, from the title of this post.
If you’re not familiar, Waiting on Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Breaking the Spine. The purpose of it is to highlight upcoming books that you’re excited about, interested in and can’t wait to read!
This week’s feature is ….
A Court of Frost and Starlight by Sarah J. Maas
Publisher: Bloomsbury | Release: May 1st, 2018
Ughh, my excitement for this is UNREAL! I also know that a lot of you feel the same way as me on this one. I can’t wait to get more from my favourites Feyre and Rhysand but also see where Maas is taking us next within this world! So exciting!!
The Winter Solstice. In a week. I was still new enough to being High Lady that I had no idea what my formal role was to be. If we’d have a High Priestess do some odious ceremony, as lanthe had done the year before. A year. Gods, nearly a year since Rhys had called in his bargain, desperate to get me away from the poison of the Spring Court to save me from my despair. Had he been only a minute later, the Mother knew what would have happened. Where I’d now be. Snow swirled and eddied in the garden, catching in the brown fibers of the burlap covering the shrubs My mate who had worked so hard and so selflessly, all without hope that I would ever be with him We had both fought for that love, bled for it. Rhys had died for it.
About the Author:
Sarah J. Maas is the New York Times and USA Today bestselling author of the Throne of Glass series as well as the A Court of Thorns and Roses series.
Sarah lives in Bucks County, PA, and over the years, she has developed an unhealthy appreciation for Disney movies and bad pop music. She adores fairy tales and ballet, drinks too much tea, and watches an ungodly amount of TV. When she’s not busy writing, she can be found exploring the historic and beautiful Pennsylvania countryside with her husband and canine companion.
