As war bears down upon them all, Feyre must decide who to trust amongst the dazzling and lethal High Lords – and hunt allies in unexpected places.
In this thrilling third book, the earth will be painted red as mighty armies grapple for power over the one thing that could destroy them all.
I’m not crying. I’m not crying. Ok, yes I am totally crying.
What an epic book. Such a great ending to a fantastic series. I am just so in awe of the storyline, the writing and how amazing this book was in general.
This is one of those reviews where I just don’t quite know what to say. Apart from gushing over every character and every scenario, there’s not much else I can add.
That being said, I would like to gush over Maas’ incredible writing. She is able to invoke so much emotion from me – just from reading one book. I went from angry to shocked, from sadness to happiness. I love that writing holds the power to do that to its reader and Sarah J Maas is exceptional at evoking that emotion.
Also, these characters are just so amazing. I loved every single one of them. I loved them through heartache, sadness, happiness, betrayal, hopefulness and everything in between. I will forever be grateful to the world that these characters gave me and to Maas for creating them.
Well – this is totally one of the weirdest reviews I’ve written. But it’s so hard to talk about this book without spoiling every little detail. All I can say is that it was incredible and heartwarming. I can’t wait until A Court of Frost and Starlight to get some more of these characters in my life!
PS: RHYSAND RHYSAND RHYSAND!

Update: I recently purchased this book in hardcover, to add to my collection (I originally borrowed the books). To my surprise, Chapters/Indigo sent me a signed copy of the book! It’s the most beautiful thing ever!
“It’s a rare person to face who they are and not run from it – not be broken by it.”
“It is the family you make, not the one you are born into, that matters.”
