When I started this blog, I never imagined that publishers would want to work with me. Never in a thousand years did I think I’d be given the opportunity to work with amazing publishers.
But, it became a reality and I’m so happy because of it! Thank you to my followers and all the publishers who choose to support me.
Let’s take a look at my October 2017 book mail!
Book Mail from Penguin Random House Canada
I was sent a few books from Penguin Random House Canada this past month. I’m so excited to work with them and I’m glad they sent me some books to review!
Little Fires Everywhere by Celeste Ng: I’ve heard nothing but great things about Little Fires Everywhere! It follows a number of characters in a suburb called Shaker Heights. I absolutely love contemporary novels so I’m excited to dive into this one!
Lost in September by Kathleen Winter: Since I majored in history in University, I’m always looking for a great historical fiction to read. A little bit of history and some time travel, it seems like a unique book! Lost in September sounds super intriguing and I’m looking forward to reading it.
The Night Garden by Polly Horvath: I’m always looking for some great middle grade books to help recommend new books to my students. Equal parts history and mystery, The Night Garden seems super promising! I’m excited to dive in.
Warcross by Marie Lu: I haven’t read anything by Marie Lu, but I want too! Warcross sounds super interesting because it’s set in a virtual reality. I’m hoping my first Marie Lu book will be a fun experience!
Book Mail from HarperCollins Canada
I was sent one book this past month from HarperCollins young adult team – HCC Frenzy. They’re so great, and I’m happy they sent me a fun book to review!
Top Ten by Katie Cotugno: Katie Cotugno seems like a staple in the young adult contemporary community. I’m excited I get to read an advance copy of Top Ten! Here’s hoping it’ll be a fun and lighthearted read!
I hope you all enjoyed seeing my October 2017 book mail!
Thank you once again to Penguin Random House Canada and HarperCollins Canada for sending me these books.
I cannot wait to read them and share my thoughts with you all. Happy reading, everyone!
